is there anything sadder than realizing that your absolute favorite character in a game cannot be romanced? this is the bracket for you! or, well, for those characters.

Competitors will be judged on which one the voter most wishes was a romance option.

Rules for submission

Characters submitted MUST originate from a piece of media with romance options that can be chosen between by the player.

Characters submitted must NOT be a main romance option.

Characters who are not main romance options are eligible, even if they can have romantic moments with the player character. For example, Scout Harding from Dragon Age: Inquisition is eligible.

Characters who use relationship mechanics but whose dynamic with the player character can never be romantic are eligible, such as Krobus from Stardew Valley.

No contemporary real people or characters based on them.

Fictionalized versions of historical figures are allowed.

Use your best judgement on why you think a character should be romanceable.

for example, please don't submit characters who have a relevant age difference or are related to the player character.

Submissions will run for two weeks, from August 3rd to August 17th.

The Masked Character Competition!

A tournament for most iconic/ beloved mask-wearing characters!

Rules:

Preferably, the mask is narratively significant to the character, but this isn’t a super strict rule

Helmets count, if they serve the same purpose as a mask (e.g. the Mandalorian)

Multiple characters can be submitted, but please only submit each character once

No real people

Keep competition friendly! Propaganda is allowed, good-natured banter is allowed, but any threatening, harassing or suicide baiting will get you blocked, and potentially get your character disqualified

(please be nice to me this is my first time)

No characters from the following medias:

• Marvel/ DC (there are just too many, sorry 😅)

• Mcyt/ any vtuber characters

• Beastars

• Harry Potter
