Recently I’ve been going through a time when I felt like I couldn’t draw or everything that I made just looks bad so I was really mad and disappointed in myself. I constantly compared me with other artists and was basically just beating myself up for not being as good and active as them. I forced myself to draw but then I felt “art-blocked” and even more useless .So I decided to just relax, let things be and realized that it’s okay not to be able to draw all the time and take breaks when I need to. After I felt better, then I started to sketch what I really want to draw again and so my ideas started to come back as well. I’m telling this because I wanna say that if you had or ever come to a situation above like me, take a break but don’t give up! Everything will be okay! Everyone has their own pace of improvement, so don’t rush when you compare yourself to others! Art is always about making what you really love so in the end you would feel fulfilled and happy about what you made. I don’t think I expressed what I want to say really well here because I’m bad with words but I hope it makes sense somehow! Thanks for reading this long rambling (＞人＜;)
