WoL & House Fortemps Headcanon

• Lord Edmond became very attached to Erja during their stay in his family’s manor. Even more so when he found that Erja and his son, Haurchefant were close; Edmond became a father-figure in a sense to the Viera. He worried that they had roof over their head, as well as made sure food and succor were available after every trying journey they managed to return from.

• The death of Haurchefant Greystone propelled Edmond’s will to be a father for Erja exponentially. It weighed so heavily on his heart that he couldn’t think of losing the last ties he had to his son. How could the being that Haurchefant sacrificed himself for be less deserving of his love? He held no resentment towards Erja, as he was all too aware of his sons’ headstrong will and burning admiration for the Warrior of Light.

• Even after Erja moved on towards Othard, Edmond still wrote to them frequently; checking on their well-being, keeping them updated with the goings on of Ishgard, and sending out lovingly assembled care packages with all of the little things the WoL had come to enjoy about the frosty city-state.

A scarf knit in the colors of House Fortemps

An assortment of pastries to share with the Scions

A fire-aspected mug that keeps whatever liquid placed within it at a pleasantly warm temperature
