Update

Hello everyone. I am not one of the persons who's building the game, but from what I saw, the group isn't active anymore, which means the project is suspended or dropped sadly. I don't want to assume it 100%, but nobody has been talking about it lately and it seems like the team (if it still exists) isn't managing this site anymore either. I am very sorry everyone, I know you all were looking forward for this project and we really appreciate it. I don't know if things are going to change in the future tho, but I have my doubts honestly.

All this to say for you to not get your expectations too high about this. However, things might eventually change in the future.

Thank you so much for all your support. It really means a lot to us. Hopefully, things change in the future and the project gets active again, but as for now this is the situation.

I really think you should update us more often, not once every two months.

Though we would love to, we truly do not have things to update you with as much as one would like. Please remember this is a free, fan-made game, worked on by our members in their spare time. Therefore, understand we will not be fast in development. Moreover, 2 or 3 members manage this blog, all of us busy college students. We will update when we have reason to, or have a moment to answer asks.

Will there be a Mac version?

Yes. Just like our trial version, the game will be for both Windows and Mac.

Are you continuing this game? I really enjoyed the trail and i thought it was incredible!!

We are trying our best :) We have every intention of finishing it, but as time passes we become busier and busier by day, and have to prioritize other things before the game. That being said, please continue to support us <3

No, we have not started any plans for converting it to an android format. It has been suggested before, and we will consider it, but it will not be thought about until the game is finally finished. :)

(The android anon) I've read your previous ask ! And tbh, I really want you guy to make into phone cause a lot of us don't have enough condition to have a laptop and PC. I don't really forcing you guys but I though it'd be a good idea since I'm a Haikyuu trash and don't have a PC to play your wonderful game !

Why just sugawara route can i play on my pc?

What you have downloaded is only a trial version, which includes a small Sugawara story. Our game is still in development. <3

Hello! I've been following the progress of the project on and off and I'm so excited to see there is a trial version out!! Thank you to the entire team for all your hard work! :] I downloaded it as instructed, but I'm confused as to what I'm to open because I would like to test the game. Help, please? :)

Hey there! We are so glad to hear that you’ve stuck with us and want to try out the trial. I assume you also unzipped the file as well? If not, first unzip the file that you downloaded. After unzipping, this little folder should pop up when you choose to see the new unzipped files:

After opening this you should be taken to this screen. 

Then just click on the little volleyball icon that says “haikyuu.exe” to start the game! 

All the other files aren’t important for you personally, it is just the place where we have stored the art, bgm, etc. You are free to look at these ofc, but they won’t really help you lol.

Whenever I try to extract the files for the demo there's always an error! >< I've been using the zip extractor and I've retried it a number of times. Perhaps you could tell how to download it and I can see where I go wrong...? Thank you for your time!

Hi anon! We’ll go through the steps and we hope we can find what caused your error!First you go the link to the trial and error, and this page should open

Click on the arrow button that lets you download,

And then this page should open, and you click download anyway and wait for the download to finish. Then you should be able to access the file by extracting it.What usually happens to me when I can’t extract a file properly is because I didn’t complete the download or it stopped half-way, so perhaps try to re-download the file?

When linking to a sample work... does it have to be hq related??? Or any writing work would do?

The sample work doesn't need to be Haikyuu related! It is preferable if you could give us a sample of your writing in 1st person POV, though it's also perfectly alright if it's not :)
