Hi I listened to the first episode of the new TAZ campaign and I love the whole premise so much!! It's a battle royale of 64 wizards competing in a series of trials, fighting "to the death" until the final one standing inherits the devastating, raw power of a god--

The catch is that all the wizards are still level one, and they each only ever know one spell that is wholly unique to them--everyone is born with their own arcane gift, though it takes years of study to actually hone and master once it manifests.

As for the boys' wizards, Travis is playing a gentle, gothic moon elf from a family of powerful necromancers, who absolutely scandalized all his relatives when his gift involved an aspect of healing instead of just murder. His spell is Wither and Bloom (albeit altered to suit level 1.)

Justin's playing a goliath--playful, spirited, competitive. Magic isn't necessarily a big deal to him, nor is it very prominent in the lives of most goliath. But when he's given the chance to show off, he definitely enjoys it, and takes pride in his abilities. His spell is Lightning Lure.

Clint's wizard is a thri-keen. He has grand aspirations of overthrowing his Queen, ascending the throne and taking control of the hive. He has a vision of finally ending her reign, claiming he'll "free" all her drones--even as he uses magic to bind them to his will. His spell is Infestation.

Anyway, I just thought the first episode was a fun introduction to the world, and I do love that it's. It's just...it's 64 wizards---
