“Shoto-“ your word will muffled by a heated kiss as your boyfriend smashed his lips against yours. Todoroki has you pinned against a wall in your shared bedroom, he licked your lips seeking entrance, you let him in. After a while he broke away from you, “What are you..” you breathed as he began trailing down to your neck, leaving a path of kisses and nips as he does. You were caught hazy in your make out session when you suddenly felt a jolt of pain on the neck where Todoroki was kissing at. You gently tried to push him away, a bit surprised but he held you in place. “Don’t move..” he breathed against your neck. “What are you doing?” He suddenly beginning to suck at an area. When he finally let go, you rubbed your neck in confusion and your face red from blushing. He had a smirk on his face. “Marking my territory?” You went over to the mirror to find a fresh hickey on your neck. “Why?” You turned around pouting. “Message for guys to back off. I’m always having to hold myself back from punching people because they’re constantly flirting with you.” You began giggling, “You adorable dork.”

(Making up for being dead the past few weekends)

“Dear, let’s go on the Ferris wheel!” you sounded so excited and sweet, Hawks could never resist, a goofy smile formed on his face as you led him through the busy crowds. You and your husband decided to take a small honeymoon and away from hero duty after your wedding. Naturally people around would recognize you due to the fact your wedding has been on the front cover and lines on every news media and of course because your husband is Japan’s number two hero. Before the newly wed couple could reach their destination, a scream came from the ride next to them. A villain. As both of you were heroes, your first reactions were to help. The winged hero began saving people falling with his feathers and he flies towards the villain. You stayed behind to help the other nearby heroes to evacuate the citizens and tending to needs. After you decided it was enough for the others to finish on their own you looked towards the direction where your husband had flew off. Hawks was trying to locate the villain after they have sunk through the ground with their quirk. The villain have circled around and caught him off guard behind his back. The young pro hero’s eyes widened. You have dived in between your husband and the villain’s attack. The last thing you heard was him screaming your name.

He have always love your beautiful smile and soft bright eyes. He never imagined what if suddenly they were, gone. You have been in a coma for a month. The doctors told him they were not sure if you would ever wake up as you have suffered heavy damage. Hawks can remember clearly he saw you take the blow for him and laying in a pool of blood, your eyes slowly closed almost lifelessly. He lost all the will to fight and was in danger himself before Endeavor arrived and took the villain out in an instant. His wearied eyes wondered around the room and back to the bed where you lay, all the heavy machines hooked in order to keep you alive. Hawks barely slept since that day. He have been neglecting his duty, spending time near your unconscious body. Many tried to convince him to take a rest but he insisted to stay in the hospital room with you so the first thing when you see if you wake up will be him. If you wake up. He shook his head, he can’t think that way. You will wake up, you just have to. Laying his head in his arms on the edge of your bed, he sighed. Suddenly he felt something brushing against his arm, looking up he saw your fingers move. His eyes filled with tears as he yelled for doctors. The doctor that came to check was astonished and told Hawks you’re indeed going to wake up. Hawks holds on to your now moving hand waiting for the miracle. Your eyes opened slowly. “Hawks?” Your weak voice called out. Tears were rolling down his cheeks when he answers weakly and helping you sit up. You smiled, “How long have I been asleep?” “Years, sleeping beauty.” You let out a soft giggle that warmed the hero’s heart. “Very funny, by the way why aren’t the lights on? Last time I checked you were a hawk, not an owl.” Hawks froze. It was early afternoon, the sun was shining through the window which he had left open. He waved his hand before your eyes. Your eyes made no movement. “Silly bird, go open the lights, I want to see you.” “Oh God, please no, don't do this to me.” “Hawks?” Your husband began sobbing uncontrollably. You began to worry and it struck you. “I’m blind now, aren’t I..” You released your hands from his arm and slowly backed away. Hawks quickly pulled himself together. “Don’t worry, I’m sure this is temporary. You have been in a coma for so long.” He tries to convince himself of that too but it wasn’t working. A doctor was called in to do the check up. He shakes his head and asked the hero to step aside to talk. “No, it’s my eyes. I have the right to know.” The doctor sighed, “I’m afraid you are blind now Mrs. Hawks. You have suffered heavy injuries from that attack. I am not surprised-” You told him to stop. You couldn’t bear hearing another word. Hawks showed the doctor out and sat back down next you. “Y/n..” You avoided his touch with a lifeless look on your face.

When you were finally released from the hospital, you have spoken since you found out you are not able to see again. Your smile never shown up again, your eyes froze in one area lifelessly. After you got home with your husband you said in a soft but cold voice, “Let’s get divorced.” Hawks was taken by surprised. “But why-” “Because I’m blind and useless now.” “That’s not true. I can take care of you.” “Can’t you see Hawks, I find myself useless. I hate this me.” “... We can talk about this later.”

Few days after your declaration, you once again didn’t speak. Hawks tried to ignore what you have said and have not mentioned it or do anything. But the words kept stabbing at his heart. One day when Hawks came home, he saw you carefully feeling around. Somehow you managed to find a knife from the kitchen. Your husband snatched the knife away before the edge touched you. “What were you thinking!” Give it back! I can’t live with this anymore!” “I’m not going to let you die!” “Hawks! You are being selfish! I can’t see any of the beauty anymore! I can’t see you! I am trapped in this darkness and can’t be happy ever again!” Tears were rolling down your eyes, your words came out with the saddest voice. You were buried in sadness and sorrow, but what you didn’t know was how much guilt your husband has been enduring. In his mind, had he been stronger you wouldn’t have to save his life with the exchange of your eyes. He is the reason, he is the reason why you can’t see again. He is the reason why you can’t be happy any longer.

“Dude why don’t you actually consider settling down and starting a family?” Sero blurted while munching away snacks. “How about you get off my couch while you’re eating. This is an office. You look terrible.” Bakugo shot back.

“Time doesn’t wait. If you want a heir for your huge corporation here you should really start young.”

“I’m only 28 flat face.”

“Almost 30.”

“Shut up.”

Of course he realizes he should really start planning on it. But it doesn’t feel right.

For the next few months he tried talking to potential partners but he doesn’t feel that sense with them like he felt years ago.

7 years earlier

“What?” Y/n’s eyes widened at what just came from your boyfriend who you have been dating since high school. “I’m dumping you.” The blonde rolled his eyes in annoyance.

“But Katsu-“

“Look, I’m tired of you. I don’t want to be with you anymore.”

“...”

Bakugo grabbed his already packed luggages and began heading towards the door. “Before I never see you again, those insecurities you’re always saying about yourself; it’s true. You’re ugly and annoying. You are always nagging in my ears. Way too clingy. I’m surprised I stayed with you for this long.” He walked out and slammed the door behind him, leaving his now ex-girlfriend crying.

Back to present day

It was his day off from work, he decided to clean up some of his old belongings, ordering his butler and servants to leave him. In the pile, he saw a CD that he does not recall ever having. Getting up, he went back to his room and decided to play the disk. Suddenly memories came flushing back as he sees all the silly videos and pictures he had taken with you. It ended with a short audio, “I love you Katsu.”

Tears began rolling down his cheeks as all his fond memories with you pulls on his heartstrings.

“I miss you.”

He had requested his assistance to find your whereabouts. You have been living alone in a rather expensive condo in a busy city as your job pays you quite well. Bakugo decided to he wants to see you again and took a plane to your city.

“Am I missing something?” Your soft eyes looked through the recipe trying to figure out why your cake isn’t working out. The door bell suddenly rang. “Coming!” Opening the door, you came face to face with the guy who had left you broken all those years ago. Bakugo’s arm quickly reflects to stop the door you were trying to close on him. “Y/n. I just want to talk.” Rolling your eyes, you did not respond and kept trying to close the door. “Y/n, please.” He is way stronger than you and forced his way in. “Excuse me sir, you are trespassing.” Your cold voice matching the annoyance on your face. “I miss you.” Bakugo tries to grab your hand but you smacked it away. “Get out.”

“Y/n I’m sorry-“

“I SAID GET OUT!”

Bakugo can see you’re fuming, in attempt to calm you down, he pulls you in and kissed you on the lips. You froze in surprise, immediately breaking away and slapping him in response. He stood there, speechless as you looked down at your hand, surprised by your own actions. You managed to recover before he does and pushed him out, closing the door before he can say anything. The blonde decided it was best to call it a day and drove back to his hotel trying to process everything that happened. “Hey Bakubro how did it go?” The red haired boy comes into view on the screen. “I got slapped.” Sero joins Kirishima on the camera. “By y/n? No way. She’s the nicest person I know.” Bakugo’s voice was soft. “Yes I couldn’t believe it either. She had never struck me before no matter the situation.”

K: “What are you going to do now?”

B: “I don’t know.”

S: “Dude there are so many fishes in the sea. Don’t get hung up on one. I say you go find someone else.”

K: “If you’re not going to help. Stay out of this.”

Bakugo sighed and shut his laptop. When he had kissed you, he realized just how much he craves having you back in his arms again. Having your soft lips against his, holding your small hand in his bigger one. He isn’t sure what he’s going to go but he is sure that he will get you back.

The next few months he tries to talk to you with every chance he got. You would always ignore him and stayed away from being too close. These days, however, you haven’t seen him in a while. You assumed he gave up. But in reality, he was adviced to leave you alone to cool down so he doesn’t do anything he regrets. Although he does silently follow you around without you noticing to check up on you. He had noticed several guys trying to hit on you especially one he’s way to familiar with, Todoroki. You were going on dates with him, smiling and laughing. Jealousy boiled up, but Bakugo decided against confrontation. One night you came home later than usual, you were at Disneyland with Todoroki all day which was a few hours of a drive from where you lived. Bakugo waited near your condo, hidden, like usual to make sure you were okay. When you haven’t arrived home at your usual time, he began to worry. Near midnight, he hears a car rolling in and sees you coming out of the car with Todoroki. With a bright smile, you thanked Todoroki for the wonderful day before bidding him good night with a kiss on his forehead. You waited till he was out of sight before heading towards your front door. Suddenly you find yourself pinned against the wall and your blonde ex-boyfriend smashing his lips against yours. He had both of your wrist in one of his bigger hands and kissing you passionately. You tried to break free but he held on tight. He broke away and began kissing you down your neck. Yanking your wrists out of his hand, you pulled away screaming, “What is wrong with you?!” Bakugo is furious but kept his anger down to not scare you away. “I absolutely do not like seeing you with other men. You’re mine and only mine.” You scoffed. “You’re in no position to tell me who I’m allowed to be and not be with.” That, setted him off.

“I will not allow any other men around you. Even if we are having problems right now, that doesn’t mean you’re allowed to go flirting with other men.”

“Allow? Problems? Is this what you think of this? Of me? I’m not your pocession Bakugo. We were done with ever since you dumped me. Don’t forget, the one reason why everything is the way it is now is because you decided I wasn’t good enough.”

“Y/n I didn’t mean-“

“Also quit touching me, wouldn’t want to soil your hands with my ugliness.”

“Y/n you’re not-“

“You said it yourself.”

“I’m sorry about what I said. I realized my mistake y/n. But that doesn’t mean you can give your heart to another man.”

“Bakugo Katsuki! How can you be so selfish?! You’re the one who didn’t want me and now you’re saying I can’t go with someone else who actually loves me?”

“I DO LOVE YOU!”

“We both know that’s a lie. Goodbye Katsuki.” You marched away, slamming the front door behind you once you got in, leaving Bakugo angered and alone.

Background info: This is an AU where they’re in an universe where they’re basically immortals or gods. If they manage to sustain an injury bad enough to kill them, they move on to get reincarnated. Once reborn, they have no memories of their past lives well that’s excluding some rare cases...

“Y/N!” Bakugo wakes up in cold sweat. He looked around the dimly lighted room expecting for a miracle that he knows full well won’t happen. He sighed before getting out of bed to start his day.

It’s been 300 years since you passed away saving the entire realm from that terrible war. You had rushed in between Bakugo and the opposing general as their quirks clashed. That had left him devastated for almost a year wondering around aimlessly not wanting to accept the fact that the love of his life is gone. But responsibilities and friends managed to pull him back into reality enough to not remain in his half-mentally dead state.

“It’s been 300 years since the war. Time sure flies huh?” Kirishima looks over at his blonde friend trying to spark a conversation. Bakugo has been a lot quieter than he use to be since your death. Though everyone tend to avoid talking about you in front of him, being his best friend, Kirishima is the only one that occasionally speaks of you. Bakugo nods with a blank look. His eyes looking completely soulless. Kirishima sighs before getting up and suggests going for a walk in the mortal realm.

Bakugo has spent the last 300 years trying to look for you even in the most bizarre places but there was no sign of you anywhere.

As they walked down the busy streets dressed as commoners, an explosion caught everyone’s attention. The tallest building had exploded out nowhere. Heroes began rushing towards the now collapsing building. “We should go see.” Kirishima looked excited in the chaos happening around him. “Tch, whatever.” The two teleported over on the roof of a building close to the incident. They watched as the heroes busy themselves with rescuing as there is no villain in sight. A young heroine was running to the entrance after taking care of some civilians before being blown back by another explosion. A villain walks out creating grenades from his hands with a sneer on his face. Realizing there were no other immediate heroes around, the heroine arms herself for a battle. But the villain had other things in mind, charging towards the civilians behind her, she puts down her guard to reach the civilians first before the villain throws a grenade at her instead. “Bakugo we should-“ Before the red hair could finish his sentence, he sees the blonde knocking the villain out with lightning speed.

“Maybe you should consider a different profession because you stink at this. Can’t even terrorize right.” Bakugo says coldly turning to the heroine’s general direction. She managed to pull herself up despite having severe injuries, “Thank you.”

“Y/N?” The heroine stares at her savior with a confused look as tears was streaming down his shocked face.
