Music Spotlight:  Nimic Revenue

Nimic Revenue’s music is a reflection of a young woman coming into her own. Her song, “Leveled Up” led her to sign with Def Jam Recordings in 2018. Earlier this year, Nimic dropped a melodic new song and video, “AWLORN Gang” which led her into a 20-city North American tour with DaniLeigh. Get to know Nimic below. 

Favorite moment in your music career thus far?

My favorite moment in my music career so far would have to be the first day of my tour with DaniLeigh. I got such an amazing reaction from the crowd! It took a lot of swallowing my nervousness but that day taught me so much.

What is the message you’re trying to convey through your EP, Lifeline?

After listening to Lifeline I want my supporters to get one message; be yourself. Embrace your stories. There is always someone out there that could use your words. I want the world to be inspired by my stories and to start believing in theirselves because where I’m at in life - they could be too. I want the world to learn to love themselves.

How would you describe your personal style?

To be completely honest, I could never describe it…but I know I’ve always been into rock band & street fashion so that made me an odd ball off top! Music-wise I think you can see I embrace all walks of life and enjoy to dabble in every culture. I like to touch on different genres so I’d say my style is just the Nimic Revenue style. Theres nothing like it, or at least nothing I can compare it to.

Outside of music, what are you most passionate about?

I’m real passionate about learning. I’m really into learning about the universe and the human mind.

Favorite movie and why?

My favorite movie is Lion King because I’ve always been into cartoons. I like how someone took ART and made it so real that people cried. I felt like it had a lot of hidden, deep life lessons and of course, I loved the music!
