even now , your comic page of stephan von breuning and beethoven has Not left my mind bcs i will always consider stephan to be Beethoven's only true real friend which makes me emo to think about. fairly, ludwig was hard to bond with and yet ,they were close from childhood till the last days. you portrayed him so gooooood ughhhhh ☹️☹️☹️

Little snippets from the sweet, brief and intensely wonderful friendship between Mozart and Thomas Linley - “the English Mozart”

Loosely based on Mozart and his father’s 1770 tour of Italy which brought these young 2 prodigies into one another’s orbit during their travels through Florence in spring of that year.

A pair of baby geniuses, bursting with brilliance, creativity and spirited adolescent mischief of course 😏

In the 18th century, court musicians like young Beethoven were expected to wear full formal attire: powdered wig, cravat, embroidered coat, the whole deal.

Even at 16, Ludwig had to dress like nobility… and he hated every second of it.

I don't know if I have already told you, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how you draw Wolfie with his children and what a wonderful Papa he is (and was, also historically). Will there be any interaction with baby Franz too, in the future, maybe? Or between Carl and sweet Wowi? 🥹

Thank you! I’m so glad you found them. Wolfie being a sweet and loving papa to his children is honestly one of my favorite things to draw. I actually did some sketches of Karl and baby Franz years ago… but they’re waaay back in the archive (and trust me, I wouldn’t recommend digging through my old, cringey art 😝).

That’s what I really enjoy about making these little comics — I get to show the everyday side of Wolfie’s life. It might be simple, but there’s something really fun and meaningful about it. So yes, I’ll definitely be drawing more of him and with Karl and Wowi in the future!
