I just wanted to hop on and say thank you to everyone who's been liking and reblogging my art! I currently have a WIP that I'm so excited to share with you guys! It's about half way done and so far I'm two days in. I'm thankful to have found a place that I can confidently post my progression. I can't wait for you guys to see this next piece. this has been annoying the absolute shit out of me, and people keeping talking about it, so lets talk about it: Nick Nelson reitirating that he is Bisexual is a necessity. It is literally him correcting people on HIS sexuality because others keep stating he is gay because he's in a relationship with someone of the same gender. It's not "cringe", it's not "stupid", its necessary. When you are part of the LGBTQ+ community you literally do not ever stop coming out. This is especially true in situations like Nick's - everyone automatically assumes that he is gay because he's with Charlie; he goes no, I'm Bi actually - because he is.

It'd be like someone assuming you were straight because you were with someone of the opposite gender, or gay/lesbian because you were with someone of the same gender.

He quite literally does not get to stop coming out, because other people are making assumptions and he is correcting those assumptions.

Say you're biphobic and fuck off.

the scene where nick and charlie try and stay up all night is so so 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴. we can see how carefree and happy they truly are. no one is watching or judging them, they have no curfew, no homophobes or bullies to sort out. its purely them in their own bubble, and i think its so lovely to have a connection with someone where you can be yourself and not be scared because you know they will be there no matter what. in that moment they are 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦

I don't know how often I'll post on here but I want to share my art as I progress. As of right now, I've been practicing a lot of Heartstopper art: specifically based on Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring. I plan to move to other characters of the series as I get more comfortable and eventually even post some of my own art. First post will be in a couple of hours, so stay tuned! I'm by no means a professional artist right now but I hope to get on the right track as I progress my skills and art has also been a new found therapy of mine. Please be nice and feel free to leave constructive criticism. See you soon :)
