This fandom needs to STOP with using “stalker” or “stalker territory” to describe professional and public settings with actors.  Convention photo ops are not stalking.  The actor is making a lot of money by charging fans to take pictures with them.  Having an arm around them or a hug pose is perfectly normal and expected.  If an actor doesn’t want to do any pose they can and do say no.  If an actor doesn’t want fans to touch them they can and do say no.  

My most recent photo op Lana grabbed me into a standard pose even when I wasn’t touching her.  Because it’s normal in that setting.  I actually wanted a pose where I wasn’t touching her and had to ask for it.

This nonsense is dangerous because it trivializes real and dangerous fan behavior.  It makes people unwilling to contact authorities when there is someone going over the line because you’ve thrown around the word over PHOTO OPS or MEET AND GREETS.

Conventions are professional settings where actors are making money.  They are NOT looking for your protection shaming their fans from buying photo op tickets or wanting to see them.  

Show the actors some respect by respecting their own agency.

Take a fucking seat.
