When I started photographing people, I realized what a blessed life I could have at something I loved and was great at. I have constantly strived to further my education. Investing in continuing education is what keeps me fired up. I always want to give my clients better. I want to continue to grow as an artist. I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, Arkansas Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of the Ozarks, and Special Kids Photography of America.

TIPS FOR PARENTS OF NEWBORNS Newborn photo sessions are best when baby is under 2 weeks old. Parents should call (479-885-3835) to set up the newborn session as soon as they get home and get settled. If you have ideas on the session - great, let's discuss them BEFORE the session. Plan on spending an hour and half at the studio. Wear something cool - the studio in VERY WARM during a newborn session. Plan on feeding the baby after you arrive at the studio, but before we start the session. Sleepy babies can be posed and stay in poses better for those sweet photos. #newbornphotography #digitalprops (at Hardgrave Photography)

Superman Day! What’s that?! There in the sky? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s the Man of Tomorrow! Superman has gone by many names over the years, but one thing has remained the same. He has always stood for what’s best about humanity, all of our potential for terrible destructive acts, but also our choice to not act on the level of destruction we could wreak. Superman was first created in 1933 by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, the writer and artist respectively. His first appearance was in Action Comics #1, and that was the beginning of a long and illustrious career for the Man of Steel. In the Baby Steps Program, we do a 4 month session. Babies are beginning to smile at other people than close family, and can focus farther out. You can practice tummy time with them at home. Lay the baby on his/her stomach and place their arms in front of chest. Once you have done this place your hand on their hands and the head should pop up. If your baby is not holding its head up well, don't worry - we can wait a week or two longer. All babies progress at their own pace, just because the calendar says it's time doesn't mean it is. Two outfits are enough, but you may want to bring several and let me advise you on which one will photograph best. (at Hardgrave Photography)
