“Scared of the Dark”

(You might need to turn up your brightness or turn off light mode for this one! I did my best to fix it but I got a little carried away with the theme of darkness, sorry!)

This is sort of a spiritual successor to my Kris Dark Room comic? I was still thinking a lot about being afraid of your room at night as a kid and seeing monsters and my mom’s advice to me about how to be okay with not seeing anything when you close your eyes to sleep. This comic was conceived post chapter 3 where Raise Up Your Bat got me thinking about Dess and Dont Forget being connected. I actually am not so proud of the writing on this so much anymore but I still really like some of the art (the isometric, love isometrics)

A friend asked how Gangle would eat, so I said "She would use her ribbons like a proboscis to suck the color from objects or liquids like Marceline from Adventure Time and then her Ribbons would change to that color" and drew this as an example

So AFTER that happened another friend (@mechobree) asked how Zooble would eat and my brain immediately just did this:

as always, i wanted the rendering to be really simple cos its such a dumb comic but here we are lol i do really like the rendering tho, especially in the first page

Okay so I did that other design for Kris earlier, but when I was done with that sketch I wanted to do one for Ralsei too, but then thought "wait what if Ralsei went to the light world and got fashion tips from Noelle"

I stayed up for hours doodling random Deltarune art while talking with some friends, it was worth the lack of sleep pfff

Have this silly Deltarune meme comic thing This all started cuz I was talking to a friend and I said the "I don't know what to do with this newfound nugget confidence, it's too powerful" bit and they said it sounded like something Ralsei would say pfff

I went to save this as a PNG when I finished it and CSP crashed and I was like "WAIT NOO" but then opened it again and it was fine Clip Studio Paint just wants to give me a heart attack I think Anyhoo, GO MY SUSELLE!
