while I don’t agree with that referring to men in their 30s-early 40s as “old man yaoi”, I UNDERSTAND why many people who primarily consume honest-to-goodness BL manga are quicker to call it that, because there is just such poor representation for men that aren’t hairless dehydrated 20-something twunks. They’re wrong, but I get why it happens.

I also understand that “middle-aged yaoi” isn’t as fun to say as “old man yaoi”, even when it’s more technically accurate.

So I would like to propose new vocabulary: Grown Ass Yaoi. yaoi that’s grown ass men. they’re not old but they’re not young adults either. you get me? Grown Ass Yaoi

Hi! My name's Mordred and I've been on tumblr for over a decade posting my writing (smut and political), my photography, or more notably my shitposts. At the end of July a car ran into my husband's car totaling it and all this year I've been struggling to get a job. All the while our rent has gone up nearly $200 and we have had to get money from our family and friends to be sure we can still pay rent, not to mention pay the other bills, have food, and take care of our cat. We are in great need of money to continue to limp by, so I'm here asking for any help anyone can give to help us get through August (and early September) until I can hopefully get a job. why are all the star trek games based on war and ship command and galactic fighting and war. i want diplomat simulator. i want skyrim for star trek. i wanna talk to a bunch of aliens about their farming rivalry and then go to the planet where everyones an italian mobster. i dont give a shit about upgrading the torpedoes on my battle cruiser to level up and destroy other ships in the New Online MMORPG. i want my entire ship to malfunction because an alien laid an egg in the nacelles and then i want to fix it by raising the alien as my own and then tossing it into space. what’s so hard to understand.
