Hannah Ashworth was one of the MOST beloved legacy characters. Who the fuck decided lets bring her back she's now a prostitute and Robbie another legacy character is her pimp.

Suzanne Ashworth was a rape apologist to her son and then got mowed down by a motorbike.

Dodger Savage is now a cop. Ew. Not my Dodger. The man should of been a firefighter.

They are also pairing Dodger with Clare Devine who is alive somehow and now faking cancer? WUT? If I saw Dodger with anyone in the village it'd be Leela tbh.

Grace got brought back and she's with Freddie Roscoe?? And heartbroken he's a hoe is sex trafficking teenagers.

Finally figured out how to do this properly lol. Idk how caught up you are but I finally broke down and watched Ste's return clips. As a Muslim,, it made me physically sick to see him being forgiven so quickly esp by Yaz but I'm curious to know your thoughts.

I haven’t touched the show in a year I see tidbits of Twitter and follow some blogs still but that's about it I’m guessing he immediately stepped back into Hollyoaks did sad eyes for two seconds and was immediately forgiven by everyone. Like I said my big grievance is hating the prospect that Yaz, Sami and Misbah are appearing to merely prop and serve his pain. WHAT ABOUT THEIR PAIN. THEY SUFFERED FOR MONTHS.

They deserve to voice that and what I did see of the storyline they were never allowed to do that much.The story might of been about radicalisation but your not really showing the severity of it if your denying the true victims pov and it’s every Muslim that was targeted.

Ste terrorised the Maalik’s for months no place was safe for any of the family they were probably terrified every day.I don’t care for Ste’s man pain I truly don’t and often since his pov is often pity me again I hate it. If  any of them didn’t want to forgive him want him near them they are absolutely in the right for it.If you are going for a redemption ( I hate it) dismissing his victims pain and having them prop him is not it.All it does is dismisses the racism. 

I’m sorry to any and everybody who’s watched this storyline and feels dismissed a bit sick or very hurt.This wasn’t the only storyline this past year that I felt was incredibly dismissive doing a can a rapist be redeemed plot was just as sickening quite frankly.

Hi! I hope I dont come off as rude or anything but I was looking through your posts and I couldn't help but notice that you seem to have a lot more anger towards Kieron nowadays than you did before and I was just wondering why? Personally, as a Muslim myself I thought the radicalisation sl was quite well done and HO even got praise for it from the home office. I totally get the anger at Ste but why Kieron? I promise I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just trying to understand.

Because it was so long ago I honestly can’t remember what I wrote at the time I do have memory problems so I’m sorry if you want me to remember everything. What I will say is this I don’t hate Kieron. Hating people requires a lot of energy I don’t have. I haven’t ‘cancelled’ him either. I just think he was ignorant in choosing to do the storyline in the first place because unlike most actors he was asked if he wanted to do this storyline and he agreed to it. As soon as the interviews started we all knew his desire for Ste to still be liked overrode the importance of the story he still wanted to remain one of the main characters so a lot of us knew that he couldn’t handle it. We knew it’d be a shit show. The audience turned on Ste as they should of Kieron later put his socials on private and suddenly a story that was supposed to be over a year-long according to BK wound up being shorter and then Kieron needed a break.

 That is what angered a lot of us.Don’t agree to a storyline like that if you can’t handle it in the long run. Don’t choose a character you don’t want to depict as a bad guy to be the bad guy. Ste was absolutely the WRONG character for that storyline he was already abusive that wasn’t new he was also a main. I was angry because I saw a lot of people get hurt and triggered by a storyline that depicted violence towards Muslims and POC by a character we all knew wouldn’t face any consequences in the long run. He’d be welcomed back with open arms. Because like the McQueen’s BK’s bias towards Ste meant there was never going to be a truthful story only a biased one. And when I saw friends of mine who were Muslim and POC in pain I was pissed off. I was pissed off by how this storyline hurt people. I was pissed off by the ignorance of white men.I was pissed off that the Mallik's were getting very little pov. All my comments were all immediate reactions brewing over time vs now a year later. If anything the person responsible is BK.His absolute bias of characters, ignorance and insistent need of killing characters all the time has absolutely made the show garbage. And it’s weird because I grew up in his first era and Hannah’s eating disorder and John Paul’s storyline were some of my absolute favourite stories.

Stealing a watch from his best friend that belonged to her boyfriend who killed himself is by far the lowest and most disgusting thing John Paul has ever done. And this is a dude who caused a priest to leave his job to be with him proposed then proceeded to cheat on him and plan to leave him as Kieran was slowly being murdered by his half brother.

Hollyoaks really had the A U D A C I T Y to put Harry’s death in the heartbreaking moments tragically passing is one thing I watched the show since I was thirteen I saw tragic moments Max was tragic. Being stabbed with a  screwdriver being told you are nothing nobody would miss you and your son is better off without you whilst nobody knows you were innocent for a crime you did not commit and calling out for your dad who was the deadbeat wasn’t tragic it was flat out sadistic.
