Laura was in a familiar forest. It was nighttime. Through the trees, she could see a full moon, shining like a silver platter. The dark leaves rustled ominously in the wind. Same as always. That dream. Her heart began to pound, and she took a deep breath. Calm down... calm down. Now’s not the time to feel fear. She needs to find Travis and meet up with him quickly.

So far, things are going well! I've written about how the relationship between the two of them is gradually changing. There are many possibilities for how Laura will react to the incident, so it's difficult to express. Personally, I think that by facing her own guilt, she will be able to be next to Travis for the first time.

It took a little time, but I finished writing it. I'll do my best to upload the continuation as soon as possible.

Laura got off at the North Kill station and stopped in the small rotary in front of it. It was a lonely, deserted station. The outside had already turned dark. Scattered streetlights illuminated the road faintly. Across the street, there were signs for coffee shops and burger joints, but all were closed, likely past their operating hours.

She pulled her smartphone out of her pocket to check the time. It was 8 p.m. There were no messages. There wasn’t a single car stopped in the rotary yet. With a sigh, she closed the screen of her phone and sat down on her suitcase.

She had informed Travis of her arrival time in advance. He should be here soon. A warm breeze, carrying the heat of the day, brushed her cheek. Laura wasn’t sure if the sweat forming on her forehead was from the heat or nerves.
