🕊️ A Mother's Cry from Gaza: Please Read & Share 🕊️

My name is Yasmine Alqadi. I am a mother of three beautiful children — Abd-Allah (4), Jana (3), and Sham (2). I used to have a husband, a partner, a source of strength. But on February 6th, 2024, everything changed. That day, my children lost their father, and I lost the love of my life to the brutal war that has shattered Gaza. Eleven months later, the grief still feels as fresh as the moment it happened.

We now live in a tent — me, my little ones, and my sister-in-law — in conditions that no human being should ever have to endure. Every day is a fight to survive, to stay warm, to find food, and to give my children even the smallest sense of safety.

But what scares me more than anything is my son Abd-Allah’s health. He suffers from Hydronephrosis, a serious condition affecting his kidneys. He is in urgent need of medical care — imaging, treatment, and continuous follow-up — just to have a chance at recovery. As a mother, watching him suffer and being unable to help is a pain I can't put into words.

I’m sharing my story through Phil, a kind soul from Lyon, France, who created this fundraiser to support families like mine in Gaza — because here, we cannot even access the internet reliably, let alone set up fundraising pages ourselves.
