He either remembers the girls names because he's super attracted to them or because he's not attracted to them at all.

I love how casually he greets them too! "oh hey pixel :/" like being kidnapped is an every Tuesday thing for him 😭

My favorite thing ever about how Mace plays Rex, other than him just being a very fun character (I want to hate him but GOD he’s funny as hell), is that the only characters whose names he consistently remembers are the girls names.

Doesn’t acknowledge Ziggy’s existence 99% of the time, but knows Ko’s and Pixel’s full names. Love that. It says so much about his character, and it’s such a subtle thing.

Dude you get it. Pyke is such a cornball I love him

before starting anthem i really really hated pyke, just purely off assumptions i made. but having watched it, i really like him. i think what makes him endearing to me is. pyke (and andy to an extent) tries so hard to make himself seem cool, that it loops back to being lame. (especially compared to ko, whose just naturally cool, just by being herself.) like his performance of this idealized, cool guy masculinity seems so forced that it just ends up being a caricature of itself
