i do love a 'we have to practice kissing so we're not weird about it when we're in front of people' moment in a fake dating trope, but i also LOVE when the first time they kiss is in public and then they just either a) kiss with way more passion than they should in front of friends/family (especially when it is set up to be a simple peck to say hello or something) or b) pull away from each other after the kiss and just completely bluescreen as the feelings they have for each other come rushing to the surface
