At his question, she gave a hum and shook her head with an amused expression. “Don’t worry about it, the costume is a little niche to be honest with you.” Swift fingers adjusted her shoulder pads for a moment before returning to the conversation. “Megaera from Hades. Great game. Frustrating if you aren’t used to playing rogue-like games.”

  ❛  Oh! Megaera as in the wife of Heracles? Greek mythology? Well, it’s a game you say, does it follows the mythos? I’m not used to play any game for that matter but if you ever want to teach me, I’m up for it. ❜ He might also develop some obsession over it.

That being said, the place must have had some improvements in the time they’d been here - that much she could tell. “How long ago did you guys open the place?” she asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Give or take, it was just Tom and me before Drew chose to sneak in. That’s another story, don’t know if he’s told you already, that chatty lad. ❜ he shrugged, reaching for his drink to sip as well. ❛ But yeah, I’m kinda proud of the place. ❜

  The melodies surrounded him as usual, swaying to the notes swafting in the air in different hues and textures. His voice soon joined with humming under his breath for a while trying to think of the next song to play. Choices, choices every night if there weren’t any requests... Until a voice caused his eyes to perk up and find a jolly smile on the guy’s face.

❛ Are you kidding me? He’s one of my favorites! Would you like to request a song? Any Billy Joel song I know. I’d go with piano man of course but a bit of a cliché right about now. ❜ Drew chuckled ❛ Unless you really want it, so then I guess I can oblige ❜

His sister had nearly talked his ear off about how great this little dive bar was, about how great the food was–after she’d actually had a chance to try it finally– and how great the people were. Apparently there was some bloke that worked there she’d recently started dating.

Haze was like a second home to her.

So what was the harm in checking out for himself? Personally Melvin didn’t see any and so he wandered inside. Huh, well at least the atmosphere seemed suitable, then again he wasn’t a snob or anything. And the piano man sounded like he could really belt out a song. So, with a light-hearted grin he stopped near enough to be heard. “Ya sound rather good mate. Do ya know any Billy Joel?”

Hellu, I'm not gone! I tend to disappear I know lol but I'm not gone, I just fell ill again and it got worse, but getting out of it slowly. Happy New Year everyone! Have a fantastic start of the year and we'll see you soon I hope.
