🔔Follow me for more such help!🔔 Shin splints are a very common problem with runners and footballers. We all know how irritating and painful splints can get. They disrupt all our daily activities and can lead to bed rest if they get worse. While calf training is important for balance, training your shins is as important to avoid injuries. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮��𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 Start them off slow and controlled. You can do them on a flight of stairs as well while holding onto the sides for balance at first. 1-2 sets of 20 seconds preworkout as dynamic primers is a good idea! 𝗛𝗶𝗽 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 Perform them slow and controlled. Get the knee up and make an angle of 90 degree to begin. 1-2 sets of 20 seconds are good enough for priming the shins. 𝗛𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 Heel walks are a great way to strengthen the shins and push some blood into them to warm them up. Walking around for 30 seconds in 2 sets is good pre workout as dynamic stretches!
