Other thing I cry over is the loss of an entire talent: The dream-talent fairies
How the hell the Talent for anything is create? Who create them? And When such talents began to exist?
I have more questions than answers, I swear

There is something that doesn't seem to make much sense:
The book says the nightmares “Lay on workroom floor like scraps of black fabric. In the daylight, they burned away..”
one paragraph later says: The dream talents could not destroy the nightmares...”
But they had the power to create a prison to contain them. With that same power, they could have tied them up and exposed them to the sun to destroy them. That's what I think, unless the power of nightmares was so great after causing harm and feeding off the fears of the fairies that even that wouldn't be possible. But no, because from the beginning of the whole problem, it's mentioned that they only come out at night... So, the daylight can destroy them...
No hate, just to be clear, I love this book, and the whole plot is good, and have a lot of great details, but, the thing with the nightmares and their way of destruction have lacks points
Plis, tell me I'm not the only one thinking bout this

Same
my favourite genre of video game is definitely "humble indie project maybe two or three hours long with simple mechanics and little to no dialogue that makes me feel emotions previously unknown to man"

I'm probably not the first or the only one who thinks about the loneliness that Clarion suffered. But I want to talk about it anyway, Because, holy Shit, I really feel like that shit is horrible; being around people all the time, living with them, for them and worrying about everyone, doing your best, working hard, trying to be useful and still feeling like nothing, like a failure, a useless thing... it's just....
Alison conveyed this very well at Clarion and in fact, she didn't get over that feeling of worthlessness.
Think long and hard: She was the only one of her kind, no one else had her talent. Only Elvina and the old Fucking bitch took it upon herself to put up a pedestal for herself, making Clarion feel even more misunderstood. Saying that Clarion needs to be perfect. Needs to act like a Queen. She never try to be in Clarion's shoes.
Elvina cared for Clarion, sure, but never let the role Of queen go away, and never see the picture on the other side. She just want to mantain the next queen in control and fisically safe. No More, no less.
Elvina made her feel inferior and insufficient.
Elvina put her down.
And on the other hand we have Milori. He always praises Clarion, sees the best in her and treats her as his equal. With respect, trust and kindness.
Quietly worked hard to break down clarion fears.
Milori Made her feel capable and strong.
You see?
The point is: We must be careful in choosing who we listen to and who we choose to have at our side.

“A brain paired with a handsome face. I thought Airbenders were suposed to be immune to earthly charms, Avatar”
Yangchen was acting that part, yes, but in reality, she was really, really charmed by Kavik's appearance.
Through the the two books, Yangchen was the one comparing Kavik whit others, but specially with his brother, and always, even being angry whit him, concluding something like “He is better, or more handsome” while looking at his nose, lips, eyes or face. She just looked at him from head to toe and finally recording that he was more handsome than others to herself.
She was so down for him and didn't notice

“The Avatar, Master of the elements, Bridge Between Humans and Spirits, Protector of Bin-Er and Defender of Tienhaishi, Benefactor of The Taihua Mountains, Healer of The Sick and Caretaker of the Hungry”
In that list of titles, Kavik forgot to include “The love of My life” according to me, and “Captain of The Western Novice Airball Team” according to Yangchen.
But did a good job anyways

It's funny to know that the Pixie Dust Tree is so connected to Clarion that it reacts to her mood swings
And the fact that she can't hide what she feels cause her glow shows everything
When she was kicking her feet and rolling in her bed remembering the kiss with Milori, she was shining like never after
I laughed so hard in that part

I'm making the traduction Of wings Of Starlight from english to spanish. (Spanish Is my native language, so, that's the reason my english Is not that good) but I've been working on it just for fun and practice. So if your native language Is spanish and want to read the book, just message me. I'll be happy for share. (Nt: vi algunos PDFs del libro en español pero tienen muchos errores, es por eso que preferí pedir el libro así fuese en inglés)

Everyone talks about Rangi and Kyoshi, and I love them too, but can we talk about the Flying Opera's companion too? The way Lek's dead break my heart, my annoying little boy doesn't deserve that path. He was talent, brilliant, I can't— omfg. Wong was such an artist, he worked Kyoshi out, trained her and made her a beast in earthbend. And Kirima, my love, my girl, the woman she Is. She's the captain Of Rangshi fandom and a monster in mastering her element. And Peng Peng, oh my cute Peng Peng. Why nobody Is talking about them this much?
I'm crying

The worst thing about the drama around Clarion and Milori's love, is that only lasted a couple of days, they fell in love, met clandestinely, were caugth by Elvina and figth against the nigthmares... All of this, un a few days. And they sufered 380 years for a—

Kyoshi's books taught me two things
First, that I love Rangi,
Second, that Kyoshi is stupid when she shouldn't be. My little girl learned the hard way.

Menwhile Milori waiting for Clarion all the week:

The most evil thing he did was not reveal the name of the poetry book he was reading.
Still want to know
