Tummy talking is such a cute, underrated concept.

Like- when a character is hungry/has a stomachache, they try to convince their tummy to “calm down” or to “be quiet” whenever it starts acting up. And when it doesn’t, the character can only whimper and rub their stomach in hopes for it to settle down from its loud, obnoxious temper tantrum.

Hell, there can be scenarios where their partner/friend overhears their stomach growling, making them rub, and/or talk sympathetically to the organ as If it’s a protesting child, as if to embarrass the hungry/sick character. It, of course, works; but it doesn’t stop the partner/friend from nestling their head on the other’s noisy tummy, embarrassing them further.
