Early to bed, early to rise… Slept around 10:30pm last night and up by 6am this morning. Starting my day with yogurt, a dollop of honey, strawberry, and coconut bits. Powering up because I have to review two sections for REG today. 🤓

I was so fed up with school because it seemed like my best was not even enough. I gave it my all and I still received bad grades. It’s all good though, tomorrow is a new day and I will try again.

Writing lab reports all day every day, but this time with a little motivational help from my friends. Studying in the cafe was a nice change from the library ☺️

Please, stick with your goals. We need your creations in this world❤️. • My writing has been very all over the place this year. With one book out to publishers, my current WIP being quite the brat on a daily bases, and a third screaming for me to get to it already, I’ve felt rather creativity erratic. Not to mention my design job taking more of a front seat lately. There’s been many days I’ve looked at my current manuscript and wondered, “is this the one I give up on?” But alas, I find that I’m just as stubborn as it. And with the help of my agent, my husband and good friends (you know who you are), I’ve finally done it! I’ve wrangled this beast and the words are pouring now. I’ve past that hurdle that felt like it was strangling me into submission. This story is a hard one, the characters are hard, the adventure an ornate tapestry. I knew this from the start, but began anyway. It’s in my nature to rise to a challenge. And In the end, I’m always proud that I do. I’m better that I have. So I implore you, if you can relate to any of this, to have doubt in your skill, know that continuing to work at it will only have you improve, and in my case, hold a story unlike any I have written before. Hello everyone! This is my first official post on Tumblr ever so I guess I should introduce myself :) 

My name is Alison and I’m going to be graduating high school and finally entering the university world that I’ve been preparing for. Obviously my dream is to become a vet so I will be going down that path and I’ll be posting about my successes and failures as well as just everyday life too!
