So, by the way, even if you decided on Thursday to start dieting, the recommendation is to wait until Monday to fit the weekly plan. While the first-day menu of the new Dukan diet allows only protein consumption, other foods are being introduced daily until Sunday when the diet is "relaxed".
The last day of the diet provides a gala meal with a starter, main course, dessert and even a glass of wine. After the joys of Sunday, however, Monday resumes the menu of the first day of the diet.
You can go on the new Dukan diet until you reach your desired weight, when you should resume normal eating - except on Thursdays, the day of the week where only protein and 1.5 spoons of oat bran are allowed.
Consolidation Phase
You can repeat the menu of the new Dunkan diet until you reach the desired weight. When you get to this phase, you should start the 10-day consolidation step for every pound lost.
That is, if you have shed 5 pounds, this step should last 50 days, which is exactly the time it takes for your body to adapt to the new weight and not reduce metabolism to regain lost pounds.
