◇Cole + lloyd◇

Hcs for the movie/facts about my movie au (sorry @arolloyd I didn't have the time to make you that bingo card I mentioned with school getting hectic. Also these are just off the top of my head :) )

◇ Both have sweet tooths. Lloyd loves candy and we all know that about him but cole loves pastries and deserts like cake that have surgar in it so they both get surgar highs and start freaking out in the night (good for cole in the club, and for lloyd trying to study)

◇Cole gives lloyd music recommendations, and whenever Cole is bored, he pulls out a singular starfarer comic he stole from jay to see the hype and connect with lloyd over.

◇ After a long mission they just wear headphones listening to their own music and sit quietly in the same room. No words shared just nods, hums and hand gestures as they vibe (Cole doing art and lloyd sewing up patterns on his gi)

◇They have inside jokes about Chen because Cole is protective and beats up lloyds bullies or makes fun of them when lloyd tells him to stop (it's why he's always in detention)

◇Cole isn't competitive he's mainly just laid back and chill "early bird gets the worm!" "I can get my own worm idc enough to run a mile" but he for some reason gets super competitive with lloyd and ONLY lloyd. Especially with games or challenges. (Inspired by this clip)

◇ Lloyd can go plate for plate with Cole and usually they are the ones who eat a lot and steal everyone's food. Sometimes zane packs lunches for them cause that's how he shows loves and it's not uncommon for those three to be a trio (cole leans on zane while giving lloyd a piggyback ride and it looks weird as heck)

◇lloyd isn't popular or liked enough to know about school gossip so cole and nya update him and cole talks about "who cheated on who" at the house party he dj at.

◇During sleepovers, Cole does that thing where he picks lloyd up and throws him on the bed. If he gets injured, he covers lloyds mouth so he doesn't cry and make zane overhear and come to yell at Cole

◇ They argue over food opinions like waffles vs pancakes and chocolate vs vanilla.

◇ Cole- amazing at dancing. Lloyd- amazing at singing.

◇ They talk about their love for there moms and their complicated relationships with their dad. Cole comes over to lloyds excitement and koko makes him feel right at home with her motherly attitude that can only be topped by Edna's.

◇ Matching band shirts that lloyd uses as pj's

◇ Overall their both only kids that act like siblings to eachother (zane,nya and Kai have a sibling and Jay is firmly in the "best freind" category for cole. Not a sibling one so that leaves lloyd to be his honorary little brother.)

Cole- "thats actually the best compliment ive ever been given -"

Lloyd- "um...if jay was a cookie he would be one of those cookies that have m&ms in them...kai would be a gingerbread cookie because he has main character syndrome. His icing would be messed up and it would look like he did it himself. He gives off chrismas vibes somehow...mabye its cause his hair looks like a Christmas tree- or the star that thats on top!.."

Lloyd- "Mmh....nya would be a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie cause its underrated but is really good and i like the cookie and i like nya so they have something in common! Zane would be a cookie sandwhich with 2 chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream. Its simple and good"

Lloyd- "What else what else....oh this is actually so smart but sensei wu would be a fortune cookie cause he has hidden wisdom and messages like the fortune cookies!"

Lloyd- "And my dad would be...an oatmeal rasin cookie! I feel like he would like them. And hes really old so he looks like a rasisn! But like a stale oatmeal rasin cookie that's kinda crunchy...yeah he's a stale oatmeal rasisn cookie!"

Cole- "hey lloyd..."

Lloyd "yeah....?"

Cole- "never change"

Lloyd akwardly: "ok??...i wont."

M!cole loves music and I love to think lloyd does too. Cole gives him song recommendations that lloyd puts on his Playlist and listens too while doing homework or taking photos and when people look at him he's doing a lot of random moves or facial expressions when he's lip syncing to the song.

Silly ones that people would tease him about.

What most don't realize is that he adopted that habbit from cole, and those quirks he has are the same ones cole makes when he's doing his dj gig and blasting his favorite songs.

Guys all I eat is really high processed, high sodium junk food. Usually it's my only meal of the day and if I do eat snacks it's candy or chips. I just started really thinking about how bad my diet is and now I'm upset since my grandma bought me a bunch of it (she knows I'm super picky and it's the only thing I eat is bad for me) and I don't want to be wasteful.

I'm about to give a potential hot take that people may not agree with me on but I need to open my heart with this-

S!Lloyd would not be jealous of M!Lloyd

And look It's perfectly fine to interpret it that way but I personally have a hard time believing it and it's an idea I've seen brought up in the small amount of show meets movie fics that focus on both of the lloyds.

The main reason people believe this is because M!Lloyd had a parent who loved and supported him day 1 and he got to do normal kid things (going to school and stuff) but while he had a semi normal life S!Lloyd had to grow up quick and become a ninja while not having a consistently loving parent.

Initially i thought he would be beacuse having a real childhood or a completely supportive parent are things he would have really liked to have but i think the statement of "lloyd would wish to have a childhood but that doesnt mean hes jealous of movie lloyds childhood" can be worth noting.

If we take the current versions of each character- DR Lloyd and then M!lloyd (cause that's the only version of him) then i domt think DR lloyd would be jealous A younger lloyd like seadon 5 or something? Sure, i can see it, but sensei lloyd? I can't, really. Because sensei lloyd is an adult and while it will always hurt to know you lost your childhood its something you have the ability to heal from or at the least make a little less bad.

Lloyd got some semblance of a childhood with the ninja and while it hurts to not have a mom that was able to raise him he doesnt resent her for it and he did get a family who could take care of him and see him grow with the ninja. It was just a bumpy road before he got there.

So i think that an older lloyd wouldn't feel anything other than sympathy and mabye protective instinct if he met M!lloyd. If he even started to feel a little jelous it would quickly fade away the second he learns about the bullying and the fact that the ninja (the most important people in his life) aren't the best to lloyd in his universe. (I love movie ninja but I think we can agree S!ninja wouldn't have emotionally abandoned lloyd in that manner if it happened in the series and wouldn't have told lloyd that they hated him)

Lloyd in Dr seems to be protective over kids cause he says something like - "but if you're locking up kids and apparently dragons, then we have some issues to work out." Which implies 2 things to me 1.) He's grown to be an adult, and now he's firmly in that spot with his primary feeling being protective instinct when he sees kids being hurt in any way. 2.) Because of this hes grown out of his childhood instincts and upset and has moved to a new chapter in his life where hes comfortable in his role as an adult that tries to make kids not go through what he had to go through instead of being jealous of their childhoods.

Since M!Lloyd firmly slots into the role of a child thats being hurt (by the city) i think sensei lloyd would hear that M!lloyd has koko and be more relieved than anything.

When i really think about it lloyd did get all the things M!lloyd got in terms of having a koko figure it just didnt come from one person but mutiple.

Movie lloyd

Koko- loving, a good parental figure, looking out for lloyd when nobody else will, a family relationship with him

Show lloyd

●The ninja- Loving

●Sensei garm, (+wu and misako imo. Ninja also kinda raised him too)- a good Parental figure

●The ninja- Looking out for lloyd when nobody else will

●Everyone on the bounty (ninja, wu ect)- a family relationship with him

So in my eyes, the only thing show lloyd didn't have that movie lloyd has is a normal sense of life with high school and stuff like that he didn't get. But if that's the only thing he didn't get this movie lloyd has and hes jealous of him, then imo that would have to mean DR lloyd would be jealous of sora as well.

Cause sora lived in a city that hated her for being herself but got a semi normal life havimg school freinds and a school expirence just like lloyd was hated by his city for something he couldnt control but also had a semi normal life with school and school freinds.

Ofc this isnt a 1 to 1 comparison but you sorta get what im saying with this.

I can't picture lloyd getting jealous with sora, and i can't picture him getting jealous with movie lloyd. Someone rebloged a post about the topic and said something to the degree of "lloyd wouldn't be jealous of him cause that's not the type of man he is" and i agree.
