The Sims 3 Project renaissance (RELEAS)

Hello everyone. First of all, I want to apologize for my long absence and for not releasing the "Project renaissance" mod last summer. Unfortunately, there were reasons for this. Due to difficult life circumstances, I had to stop developing the mod for a while. But let's not talk about sad things.

Finally, I am ready to present you the mod "Project renaissance", which I have been working on for a long time. I replaced the textures of 17 trees and 31 plants from The Sims 3 base game. The game was released 15 years ago, and today it looks pretty outdated in terms of graphics. Despite this, the game still has a huge fan base, which creates amazing mods and game materials, thereby making our game even more attractive and interesting.

Thanks to the "Project renaissance" mod, you can add a little realism to your game, the vegetation will look much more realistic. I made two versions of the mod: small textures and large textures.

The first version is suitable for a comfortable gameplay, the second is more suitable for creating beautiful screenshots and videos, as it loads the system well enough. Gradually, I will refine my mod, I plan to add new vegetation textures for additions, as well as replace the textures of the landscape and roads.

Hey everyone! I’m here to bring you all a new Sims 3 legacy challenge: the Store World Legacy. Each generation will live in a different store world. There are 11 different worlds, so this legacy will have 11 generations.

This is the release order, but you can always do a different order! The main goal of this challenge is to play in each store world! I also made some rules for each generation. Generation Two: Barnacle Bay Arrr! Do you want to become a farmer just like your parents? No, you want adventure! You love camping, fishing and going to the beach. Barnacle Bay is perfect for you, with its beautiful beaches and relaxing campgrounds. You don’t want to settle down. You just want to have fun with the other Sims in Barnacle Bay and climb the social ladder.

You also had a hard time making friends, which I why you completely focused on your studies. Once you’ve graduated high school, you realize you’re burnt out. You move to Hidden Springs in search for some relaxation and to escape the paparazzi. It’s time to take things slow and focus on yourself. Once you feel like yourself again, you decide you want to become a doctor and help other Sims. Once you arrive there, you realize this all you ever wanted in life. You decide to never return to SimEarth. Generation Five: Lucky Palms You’re bored of Lunar Lakes and decide to go to SimEarth. You end up in Lucky Palms and spend a lot of time at the casino. Money, money, money. You throw lots of luxury parties for your friends and you get a lot of attention from the Sims in town. You’re bored very quickly, so your relationships don’t last that long. Lucky Palms was nice, but it was very dry. You spend your days painting, writing and relaxing at the beautiful beaches while your partner works a shady job. You never planned to have kids, but one day you get bored and have an affair, and woops, there’s a baby! Will you keep this a secret? Or will your partner find out? The Sandalwood - 7 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms

Hey all, here is a new house! I made this with my current household in mind, I am playing with the Martinez family that comes with the base game. It is cc heavy, that's obvious from all the photos.

The .sims3pack file will not include the cc unless you already have it in the game. I have included a .package file as well as that is the best way to install the lot.

(please don't install via the launcher as it will make the game infinitely more laggy then what it already is)

I'm Back

Hi everyone!

Long time no see, how've you all been?

So in the last few months some things have happened in my life... like nothing really, I'm still working and studying but I've managed to work out something that works best for me that allows for me to be able to do the things that I love.

I want to get back into sharing my builds and sims for you all to enjoy. So I'm going to be uploading sims and builds for you all to download again. Please keep in mind that sometimes I just won't post for a while due to being in a slump with my creativiy and just being in a slump in general.

Also this up-coming week I am going to be having life changing surgery. I have been a bigger (literally) person my entire life, it has come to the point where it has started to affect aspects of my life and it has honestly damanged my self-perception. So you may be asking your self "Hayley, what surgery are you getting done?" I am having Gastiric Sleave, also known as Bariatric Surgery.

I can't wait to create content for you all again, also if you'd like to request a build or sim, shoot me a message through tumblr or discord - I am mainly active on Acottonsock's discord server where I share all the shenanigans my sims get up to, and where my builds are also shared.

since my last post, people were asking for my introductory post about queensberry bay..

i am warning you, it’s not perfect good at all as i equally am a perfectionist and takes me ages to even be happy with my things lol.

queensberry bay, once completed will be fully populated with mostly my sims, some sims from other worlds and also some families from other friends who are lovely and kind. if you do want to help out, whether it is making houses for my families or even helping me open up community lots to make them fully interactive.

~ Welcome to Queensberry Bay ~

Why hello there kind visitor, it is such a pleasure to have you here, visiting our beautiful Queensberry Bay.

A brief explanation of Queensberry Bay’s origin story is simply this, it was “refounded” in 1895 by the founding families of the two closest counties on either side of Queensberry Bay - Storybrook and Evansdale as well as two new upcoming families to the area Queensberry and Bridgewater. As the Queensberry family was well known for their successes in the construction industry, they were given the rights to change Queensberry Bay’s “new name” from St Claire to Queensberry Bay. Back then, it was a ghost town that slowly grew over time.

However, now in 2023, Queensberry Bay has evolved into a bustling metropolis. To paint pictures in your mind, Queensberry Bay has now thrived and grown into a medium sized city that has pretty much everything that someone will need from a thriving city scape that has many established businesses and skyscrapers littering the night sky with fluorescent lights.. When passing through the city, there is an expansive University area with a plethora of living areas ranging from Townhouses, Apartments, even a couple co-ed dormitories and affordable housing for people who haven’t got a lot of money after paying their tuition for the year. Above the City and University areas, you will find the homes of the founding families, watching from above… Admitingly to everyone, those families have one of the best views of the whole Queensberry Bay. Once travleeled down the hill from expensive land, there are two bustling suburbs, one located before the bridge and one over the bridge that flows over the Queensberry Channel. The suburb located on the main island houses a majority of Queensberry Bay’s population of its families, older generations, new generations and even some smaller businesses that help sustain the economical growth of Queensberry Bay as well as the suburbs.. whatever money gets poured in, gets poured back out to the area. When driving across the Queensberry Bridge, there is more of Queensberry Bay’s higher class citizens living out here but it seems like there’s more migration than other years due to the 2023 census. Once you drive further north through the different homely suburbs, there is the “farming quarters” that have been exploding with business as of lately due to the abundance of fruit and vegetable plants, new horse riding champions and even a community garden and garden shop. There’s also a steady flow of farmhouses located in the area, some inhabited and others not.. If you continue driving north, the beach landscape of Ponders Beach will be shining into your eyes which houses a collective of reclusive and quieter families that like to keep to themselves, their fish and simplicities. I guess.

Well, that was an expansive summary of Queensberry Bay and all its different locations.. Will we be seeing you visit us again to possibly move into town or will you just be driving through on the way to Bridgeport, Sunset Valley or Appaloosa Plains?

Hi everyone.

Thank you all so much for the love and support everyone has given me and this simblr.

I started this while I was still in school earning my HSC (Higher School Certificate). I am now 18 and beginning a traineeship which entails me working and studying, this leaves little to no time for me to be playing games and going out.

While I would absolutely love to continue reblogging custom content and sharing my builds and sims to everyone, it just is not possible for me right now.

I need to learn so many things and I don't have time for me to sit down and play sims or any other game. The only free time I get now is my weekends and the few hours that I'm not traveling to and from work, I spent those hours reading or hanging out with my friends and even studding for my traineeship.

What I am trying to say is it is time for my goodbye. I have loved sharing my builds and sims. So as of 18/02/2023 I will be on a permanent hiatus. I won't be taking this down as I want people to still see my creations and other peoples amazing work.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone.

Heyyy, This is a skin I made that I’ve been progressively working on and I’m content with it now. This skin is the one you’ve seen all my sims. I made most of this skin from scratch but this is also bit of a blend though, it uses parts from Brntwaffles Nectar skin, Kurasobrina’s Primer skin and Treesimz. I also inserted the skin with a shine overlay settings in skininator and I put Kurasobrina’s Aaliyah face shine on it as an overlay so it will even show on darker tones. It has three tones, this skin is not perfect obviously, but enjoy!

tammy_trauma Roofs

tammy_trauma made some really wonderful roofs. With the wide variety of shades and that great texture she used, these roofs find their way into a lot of my builds. These were originally on MTS but are no longer available, and tammy_trauma hasn’t been active in quite a while. So I’m sharing them in the spirit of free and open content; I hope you find them useful. 

There are a total of forty-one roofs in the linked folder. This includes roofs in tammy_trauma’s own colors and textures (pictured above) as well as roofs with Maxis textures plus white trim. Most of the white/grey/black roofs have plain and white trim versions, but only the plain version is pictured (the Dark Grey and White only have a plain version; it looks like I’m just missing the trimmed ones). The Maxis-textured ones are not pictured here.

I’ve grouped the roofs in the pictures according to color collections. This is the order pictured here: Beach, Beige, Blue, Green, Tan, White/Grey/Black. Everything is labeled accordingly in the folder. Disclaimer: I don’t have every roof tammy_trauma made, and I don’t even have every shade in every color collection. I’m just sharing what I have.

Important Note

The original file names were rather inconsistent. So I’ve changed the file names to make it easier for someone unfamiliar with these roofs to know exactly what they are before putting them in game. Of course, that means if you already have these roofs and add these files, you’ll have useless duplicate files in your Mods folder. So I’m assuming you’ll know beforehand whether or not you actually have these roofs! They’re also a bit confusing in how they appear in the catalog, because they aren’t always next to their similar colors, but I couldn’t do anything about that.
