The post from racingnews365 just poped up and they were like "Of the 15 drivers with the most poles in f1 history, 14 have at least 20 wins and a world title. The only exception? Charles Leclerc - 8 wins and no championship"
He's 11th, he's two poles away from equaling Fangio.
And like, the f1 statistics sometimes is just world champions and Charles.

I think that a big part of the Charles should leave Ferrari conversation that we forget about is Ferrari politics.
Ferrari internal politics, rightfully so, have been a big conevrastion for years and now especially. And of all the drivers entangled in that web, Charles is practicaly so deep to the centre that there is almost no escape.
Ferrari cares about their branding and what the name stands for more than anything - its their greatest sin. And people pointed it out while Vettel was drivinv and while Sainz was driving for the team that it looks like they care more about Charles and what he says about them than anyone else.
Because he's their child, he's their golden boy, they raised him in Maranello - which, yeah, he is and they did. He's the first driver from the FDA to actually make it to Scuderia and FDA isn't lacking in drivers nor do they let go of drivers and teams associated with them that easily.
Cadillac is buying their motors you think they won't pull strings to use them as testing grounds for drivers like they did with Alfa Romeo/Sauber and how they do with Haas. Hell, we have three drivers in talks for the seat in Cadillac, Valterri, Checo and Mick. Checo and Mick were both FDA drivers. They consider wins of customer teams their own, because its their car that won. I can guarantee you that they did not give chamagne to Sauber for Nico's podium because they take it as betrayal that Audi is coming next year and making thier own engine and especially because Scuderia got worse results that race.
They don't let go because they consider them theirs. You think they are going to let their prodigy go? You think they are going to turn to the board to investors and say the driver we raised left us because we weren't good enough? You think that they are going to they are going to take it well when he goes to a compeyent team and starts winning? You think that they are going to take it well if he wins a championship with them?
No, because he would have won, but not with them. No, because that will be a solid proof of thier faliure.
They would rather he lose with them than win without them.

So in the light of recent events and statements and 4 week break I would like to propose an idea to make this season like 1000x better and stop mclaren from winning the wdc.
We take mercedes mechanics and engineers and ferrari mechanics and engineers over these 4 weeks they become one team.
Together they make a car with these regulations - they are either building a rocketship that could break the sound barrier or a car so slow everybody is going to finish the race and would be on the half of lap 3, there is no in between.
For drivers I propose Charles and George. First because its funny, second because Kimi needs a break from preassure and Lewis needs a break from both teams, third because for this fuckass team to work we need George's 'I move in silence' and 'does nothing - podium' and Charles' bad luck and decision to just switch tactics to murder (I didn't forget Imola or Spain) and both their haterism towards Mcl (I did not forget George's comments from earlier this year)
And since this car is gonna be on another level of speed (it could go either way) they are either finishing above mclarens or not finishing at all but if they dont finish neither will mclarens. Expect carnage.
My predictions for the championship - Max Verstappen, because that Redbull is so ass he might manage to avoid the carnage and get the win or Max does get caught in carnage and we have my second prediction for wdc in this scenario - Alex Albon and that would make the world a better place.

I made a post saying in know exactly what type of an f1 fan a person is depending on their statements about charles and today I stand proven corrected so lets debunk this comment:
And I'd like to preface this by saying that I do think currenty max is the best driver on the grid point blank, but alas I am capable of critical thought...
So:
"Charles was max level when he had a good
car? France 2022 C Calling Ferrari a tractor
this year is crazy. Btw has Charles ever won a
WDC with the third best car(max did it last
year) oh wait bro hasn't even won a single
championship"
(Text is copied, but its on tiktok, i can't import the sc)
This specific comment
He was actually for the frist 6 races in 2022 before ferrari decided that upgrades should make the car worse - he won 3 out of 6 races, led one but dnfd due to techincal issues, and sainz won 2 (in the same machinery, because carlos never agreed to being the second driver, max's teammates and redbull second seat are a whole different conversation)
France 2022 - again - championship isn't lost on one race alone, it may be won on one but not lost. Also why are we bringing up Charles' one crash and never Max's? Because he has dnfd due to his own mistakes. Spain 2025 is him suffering the consequences of his own actions (not a crash but that p10 did sting when he was still in the fight)
Third best car - this is what I was talking about when I said I know they lack nuance and critical thinking. Because at the end yes redbull was the third fastest car, but it was not at the begining of the season. We thought it was going to be 2023 all over again in the first 5 races last year. Ferrari was third fastest for half a season there only woke up in the second part. These things change with the upgrades and depending on the track - Merc wasn't the fastest in Spain but it was fastest in Canada.
On the point of ferrari tractor - it was at the begining its better now but standards for what is considered a tractor in front, mid and backfield are different

I know its not motorsports but yesterday I watched the chess semifinals between magnus carlsen and hikaru nakamura and i saw that they are both sponsored by energy drinks and like yeah a monster sponsorship makes sense but RedBull??? I'm so used to seeing them in extreme sports and feats, but chess???
And then I saw that Nakamura had like 125bpm and I was like oh okay chess is an extreme sport then
