I loved this!🥰🥰 it was so cute!
Hello! ❤️I love your stories and was maybe wondering if you would write a Shelby Family x reader story where she is their half sibling who grew up in America. Like Arthur Sr. Had an affair with a woman visiting from the US right around the time Finn was also conceived and maybe that woman was who their father ended up running to when he left like a year later, but not because he was in love but because she had money and he could get her drugs and stuff. And so the reader kinda grew up “seeing” Arthur sr rarely but also being raised quietly by her richer non gangster grandparents (even unofficially taking their last name instead of Shelby)while her “parents” just went off and did whatever. one day her grandparents die and even though she is almost 19 and only a few months younger than Finn she is sent all the way to England to live with the son of her grandparents friend. And who is that son of a Friend she is send to live with? Our favorite Jewish Baker Alfred (who also doesn’t know she’s a Shelby) !!! And then like Alfie kinda takes her under his wing and cares for her like her grandparents and let’s her work in the legal part of the bakery (while not telling her about his gang b/c she actually wanted a quiet nonviolent life having seen how her parents acted) then one day she’s talking to Goliath for lunch when three men come in and one says his name is Arthur Shelby and then R gets all confused. Because as far as she knows there’s only One Arthur Shelby and the man in front of him is ABSOLUTELY not him (this guys to nice and sober to be her sperm donor). So she starts arguing with him that he’s not actually Arthur Shelby and like “why would he be impersonating such a random drunk who never did anything” and and Arthur being Arthur gets kinda offended and starts arguing back with this random teenage girl (very similar to how he would argue with teenage Ada) that he is in fact Arthur Shelby “Yes I am -no you’re not -yeah I am -no your NOT…. Etc.” and they both just end up bickering and everyone is confused until like John realizes that the she may be taking about Arthur Sr and they figure it out. Idk what would happen next the older Shelby’s would probably like be pissed and ignore her for a bit but I could see Finn being curious would be the first to reach out again kinda excited to have a sibling his age who isn’t as rough as his family and they would get close and then Ada would be the next to follow excited to have a sister. And yeah, idk sorry this is long but basically it would be the Shelby’s having a half sister who ends up in Alfie’s care and only realizes she has siblings after arguing with Arthur about his own name😂😂 you don’t have to though!!❤️❤️❤️
Dear Anon,
This request was amazing, and I don't think my writing can live up to it's greatness. Thank you for entrusting it to me and for waiting forever. I really hope you enjoy it!
Lots of love & Happy New Year!
Warnings: Peaky-type themes + Happy ending
You were crushed as you lay on the worn hardwood floor of your bedroom. All your family was suddenly gone leaving you out in the world on your own. In a year you would have an impressive estate to fall back on, but as for now, it was their request to send you to England. You looked up at the floral wallpaper suddenly determined to commit it to memory, once you walked out that door this, this, this energy…. You struggled to label what exactly would be ripped from you once you walked out the door. All you knew was that everything would become real the second your feet touched the bottom of the front steps.
The possibility, no matter how stupid, of them simply being on a long trip would become a distant dream. They would officially be dead.
They had a family friend who had called on the phone to let you know he had arranged everything. His gruff voice made you weary. You didn't like men, but strange men you would live with, in a foreign country? Absolute no. You were very aware that they were probably murdered and if sending you to this man was their wish you knew it was because he would protect you.
Anger was boiling under your skin overshadowing the deep grief you were experiencing. People had you packed up out of your childhood home on a boat before the dirt had been poured over their coffins.
Over the long journey, your mind ran rampant over the finer details of your life. Your father was English, what if this was just an elaborate plot to drag you down into that life. He was an abnormally cruel man, keeping your mum sedated with drugs, and spending her money. What if he was the one to murder them? Getting his hands on you only to gain their estate money…. Your body started to spin out of control at the thought.
Your Grandmother was a Scottish woman with a hellfire temper, seeing what was happening in the home she’d removed you. You squeezed your eyes tightly knowing she’d never be there to hold you again.
They were good people, they taught you to be a good person despite the heartache that came from being stood up and endangered countless times by your parents. You made a promise to yourself that if things were rough, or if they were improper in any way you would leave and use the little money you saved up to find your Grandma’s sister in Glasgow.
After what felt like an eternity, but also a very short and hazy amount of time you had arrived. You watched as black cars pulled up and a very well-dressed man got out. His employees took your suitcases from your hands and you initially flinched at the attention.
Mr.Solomons was massive. Both physically and in personality. He came up to you and squeezed your slender frame in a crushing hug.
“Sorry ‘bout the family, love.” He grumbled.
“Thanks,” You said breathlessly as he squashed you.
_____________________________________
Despite being a rather posh group of people he could tell she’d not been treated properly in her life. Jumpy, timid, and refused to make eye contact. She was bat-shit scared of the situation.
He thought about taking her down to Arrow House. Dropping her off with her proper extended family. Thinking of the New Years' party he attend with the maids whoring themselves out, he thought it best to hold on to her a bit. Thomas was a lot of things and none she would find comfort in. Not that he was much better, but at least the beach house only kept a small staff, two maids, and one cook. All female and all well into their 60’s.
Alfie watched as she slowly settled in after a few weeks. He tried his best to act in a predictable manner in an attempt to scare her less. She asked a million questions about what he did, he knew she wasn't stupid so he told her the lighter version of the truth.
A mistake.
But she eventually calmed down enough to come to dinner and question him some more about morality and ethical values.
Give it another week and she was helping in the front bakery. She made all sorts of treats he’d not heard of before and insisted that single mothers or folks struggling didn't have to pay. He’d wanted to argue but he could still see that she was hanging on by the thread and needed a project more than a business lecture.
She’d finally laugh with her whole belly, and tease him endlessly.
He’d just about gotten used to her presence when everything had to get blown up.
______________________________________________________________
You were just done telling Alfie that he smelled like a wet dog when a tall man in a funny hat came in.
“Can I help you?” You asked in a hesitant voice. Alfie had disappeared and it was just the man and you in the back warehouse of the bakery.
“Probably not, love. Where’s Alfie then?” There was a sharp edge in his voice that made you absolutely refuse to tell him.
“Who’s asking.”
“Arthur Shelby,” He said waiting for you to run and announce his presence.
“Yeah and I’m the Virgin Mary. Try again.” You crossed your arms across your chest. This is exactly the kind of thing you were expecting. Obviously, he’d send someone to ruin what bit of happiness Alfie had given you.
“Oi! What’s this ‘bout. That’s my fu-ck-ing name”
“No, it’s not. Arthur Shelby is a right useless cunt that’s probably too drunk to stand at this hour. Did he send you here then?”
“That’s- I am a man of God. Now enough of these stupid games. Go get Alfie” He cursed under his breath and you refused to be intimidated by him.
“NO.” You said sternly. “No man of God would pretend to be such a bastard. You should leave.”
“Look! I am on business. Can’t leave till it's done. Now get him the fuck out here”
You both entered a weird staring contest when you heard Alfie come down the stairs.
“Right little brat you have here,” Arthur growled and you sneered at him. “How many Arthur Shelbys are probably out th-”
“Do you mean Arthur William Shelby?” Another man asked stepping into the warehouse.
“See you do know him!” You growled.
“Your dad fucked about, that can’t be much of a shock to you,” Alfie said with a chuckle.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” The two men said in unison.
You watched as the men squared up against each other.
“Half-sister” Alfie pointed to you. “Her grandparents took her in when her mum went the same way your mum did. Must be his type.” Arthur looked like he was ready to punch him in the face. “Her Grandparents helped me with business in New York. Left her to me when they knew you lot were the only other option.”
Arthur spat on Alfie’s shoes. “Like you’re a better option?!” He handed Alfie an envelope. “You better call Thomas before I speak to him.” He stood there for a moment obviously contemplating whether he should attempt to fight Alfie or leave. “And this better not be some fucking joke.” He stormed off.
“You’re really his kid?” John said and you noticed the sadness in his eyes. You nodded and he turned around and followed after his brother.
You looked at Alfie and suddenly needed to sit down. He caught you before you landed on the floor. He placed you in a chair in his office.
“I don’t want to know any man -” You shook your head unable to finish the sentence. Obviously, something had to come crashing down. You’d become accustomed to your little cramped bedroom, eating breakfast in his office, and tea out by the water no matter how awful the weather was. He always listened and would ramble on about stuff that seemed completely useless. It wasn't home, but he made it feel more like an adventure. His hands were gripping the sides of your arms.
“Easy now, love.” He said softly. “It’s not that bad.”
“You knew I had family - His family around here and didn't say anything?”
“Well, they left you to me not them -”
“Alfie.”
“I didn’t think you would mix in with them right away. Figured you needed some space from everything.”
“Are they like him?”
“Gypsy trash? Mostly. Thomas is a right mess -” He sighed at your expression. “They aren’t that bad.”
“Lie”
“I like hating him. Were friends for the most part. His family is pure chaos, but he treats them well enough.” He squeezed your arm. “Wanted to give you a bit of time before introducing them.”
Tears started to prickle in the corners of your eyes.
“I wouldn’t send you anywhere I thought wasn’t safe. Despite being a right pain in the ass, you're not a terrible person. Don’t deserve to live with terrible people.”
________________________________________________
Tommy made his phone calls. Got all the evidence together, all of it pointing to him having a half-sister. With this knowledge came a heavy dilemma.
Bring her into the never-ending mess. Or let her live a nice life with all that money.
He thought about her being with Alfie, not much different than having her here?
He groaned pouring another glass of whiskey.
Fucking fuck. He thought about his dad and settled into the familiar acidity of his anger.
He made the phone call.
“Thomas.”
“Alfie.” He took a long drag of his cigarette. “Got my sister there?”
“She’s in bed.”
“Bring her around then. I’ll take her in.”
“She’s not a bloody horse Tom”
“How old is she?”
“18”
“Why bother with her then, eh?” She was an adult no reason to keep her.
“She’s in my care till she’s 19. That’s how it is ‘cross the pond.”
He sore silently.
“Still she’s my family. Should have her here.”
“Exactly what her grandparents didn’t want. I don’t know your father but he did a right number on her.”
“On all of us,” Tommy answered bitterly instantly regretting expressing that to Alfie. He thought of the poor girl and felt for her. “Just bring her around eh? She can decide. But I need to speak with her.”
“I’ll ask her. She’s flighty when it comes to the business though. M’ not having her over there with maids whoring about and men getting shot in the parking lot.”
“Fuck sake! It was one party, ages ago, that got out of hand.” He pinched the bridge of his nose.
“That’s because you party like fucking savages!”
“We've got kids now- things are different-”
“Fuck off - you lot are always running from things! “
“From what?! All my fucking money?!”
“Alfie?” a quiet voice interrupted whatever he was going to reply with and suddenly the line went dead. Fucking idiot, they always bitch at each other like schoolchildren. Not even Arthur or John act like that.
He climbed the stairs and got into bed next to Lizzie.
“She’s your sister then?” She asked in the dark. He didn't respond. “Can always tell when you're talking to him - shouting your bloody head off.”
“I don’t want her to stay with him. Just the two of them in that dusty house. It’s not right.”
“Have her over then.”
“That’s the plan.”
Lizzie made a soft sound before coming over to press against his side. He didn't sleep.
Waking up in the morning he called the family in. Feeling stupid for overlooking one specific and glaringly obvious issue.
Polly.
The girl stood in the entryway looking equal parts terrified and ready for a fight. Polly looked over the girl in a way that told Thomas everything he needed to know. She’d be a part of the family no matter what anyone wanted to say about it.
Two weeks after Michael left to go back to his adoptive parents. A month after hearing that her daughter had died. Now there was an awkward lanky girl, with eyes that had seen too much, looking back at her. A need was filled.
Looking at Alfie it was obvious that it bothered him. Why he’d grown attached to her, for his sake, better have been a paternal thing.
“We have some business,” He said to the girl once the introductions took place she gave a nod and followed him with her head held high. He wasn’t surprised to see Polly following closely behind her.
Alfie decided to stay in the entryway and harass Arthur some more.
He motioned to a chair and she took a seat looking around the space. Polly’s eyes watched her like she was a showhorse up for bid.
“You knew my father then?” Her face twisted up and he realized he probably could have started things off in a better way.
“Yes. And I’m almost certain he killed my grandparents. That’s why I’m here with Alfie. So if you're in on his plan” She leaned on the desk and stared at him. “I see you.”
“Haven't seen him in years. Don’t need the extra cash either” He motioned to the house. That seemed to appease her slightly as she leaned back into the chair.
“He is an awful man and if this is where he would go when he wasn't drugging my mum or making my life hell then I want nothing to do with you lot.”
“Not here with us.” He confirmed wondering where on earth he was now. “I don’t like the thought of my sister alone in that junk museum with a potential enemy.”
“Alfie’s fine.”
“When he wants to be.” He answer wondering why he cared.
“Same as you, no?” She challenged.
“Look, let’s just get to know each other. We are family, one more at the table is a blessing. We have no other motives going on. It’s not much of a shock that you're here, I just wish it was under better circumstances.” Polly said squeezing her shoulder. “Alfie has been unpredictable in the past, but he is a good friend of the family. Both of you can come around whenever.”
“Thank you.” The girl responded with a small smile. “If we really are all on the same side. Perhaps you could help me find out what happened to my Grandparents?”
“I-”
“Of course, we can, love. We know lots of people in New York.” Polly responded before he could tell her it was better to let these things be forgotten.
___________________________________
You sat in at dinner and found yourself having to leave the room for laughing so hard. Tommy and Alfie were like cat and dog. If anything they seemed more married than anyone else at the table. They clearly had a long history.
You stepped out on one of the balconies trying to catch your breath. Everyone told you that laugh was not table-appropriate and you didn't want to offend these people.
Suddenly the door opened and Ada walked out. She gave you another look over and touched your cheek.
“Can’t believe I have a proper sister.” She said in a warm tone.
‘Half-” You were going to correct her but she cut you off.
“Same thing. You look like things weren’t the best for you growing up and I wanted to tell you I can relate. I remember dad too clearly. I really wish I didn’t.” She gave you a sad smile and you realized that they had him around all the time when they were young. Not just here and there when he wasn't on long trips.
You tried to say something but just ended up silent hands making an awkward gesture.
“Don’t have to explain it.” She tucked your hair behind your ear. “I hope we can get to know each other better. Do our hair, go out, gossip. I always felt so jealous of my friends who had sisters.”
You thought about how nice that sounded and gave her a nod.
“I’d like that a lot.”
“I’ll warn you though.” Your stomach twisted up waiting for her to tell you something horrible. “Polly’s found out her daughter that was taken from her died, and her son went back to his foster parents recently - it’s a long story - She’s probably going to try and smother you.”
“Really?”
“Oh yeah. Every time we see a baby in a carriage she starts crying. It’s not been an easy time for her lately. Just try to humor her if you can. I’ll be staying here for a while with Karl. Nice to have the family around to help out with him.”
“That’s your son?”
“Yes! I’ll introduce you to all the kids in the morning.” She smiled brightly and you got excited at the idea of being an aunt.
“Esme will also probably want to recruit you. The boys always end up outnumbering us so I’m sure she’ll be happy-”
“Stop making me sound like I’m a cult leader!” Esme whispered taking the cigarette out of Ada’s hand. “I’m just saying that Tommy needs to be kept in line - look at her she’s got fight in her eyes!” They both looked at you causing a thick blush to cover your cheeks. Just then Lizzie showed up.
“Oi stop making me sound like a bad wife! I keep in check plenty these days thank you.”
“Maybe you could use another round of that, looking a little tense, love.” Esme pinched her bottom and she slapped her playfully.
“Cult of bad wives or whatever nonsense they were corrupting you with - It’s lovely to have you around. Got a nice laugh.”
“No! I know it’s horrible I wasn't allowed to laugh too much- that’s why I came out here -” You stuttered trying to explain.
“They wouldn't let you laugh?” Polly interrupted closing the patio door behind her.
“I mean it wasn't proper for me to laugh like that.” You crooked your head to the side wondering why that wasn't obvious to them.
“YOU LOT BEST BEHAVE YOURSELVES!” Tommy called out loudly interrupting his current argument with Alfie.
You started laughing again much to their delight.
“As you can see we are not the most proper.” Lizzie did a little wave with her hand.
“You all spend a lot of time together?” Suddenly you wanted to be cool like them. The way they all looked different but so pretty. Esme had wild hair and dark makeup, Lizzie looked like she belonged on the cover of an expensive fashion magazine, Polly looked like a part of her was owned by a force of nature, and Ada was soft but elegant.
“You could say that!” They laughed
“The boys are always out-”
“Better than being alone -”
You nodded. You never had real friends growing up, certainly none like this.
“Don’t worry, love. We will corrupt you in due time.” Esme said with a wink.
You got pulled into the kitchen and watched as they got louder and louder. Loud enough that Thomas came in eventually with his sleeves rolled up and his face red.
“How could you possibly be louder than us eh?” He looked angry till a smile broke out on his face and he went over to kiss Lizzie’s cheek.
“Hope you lot haven’t melted her brains” Alfie grumbled but also looked in good spirits. The rest of the boys, your brothers piled in. Finn was around the same age as you a fact that made your heart hurt a little bit. His dad spent all his time tormenting you instead of being there for him. Would he see that as a blessing or a curse? He shook your hand and started up with a million questions about New York and your funny accent. His friend sat down beside you resting his arm on the back of your chair.
He reached out his hand “Isaiah”
You introduced yourself, shaking his hand. The two boys went back and forth asking different things. It was nice to be with people your own age. The three of you chattered on and then quieted down to listen to Alfie’s story.
You burst out laughing and all the women started cheering you on turning your face a deep shade of crimson.
“I like that laugh,” Isaiah said quietly and the thought of staying around here wasn't so bad suddenly.
_______________________
You were torn, but you decided to go back with Alfie in the early morning. Polly made you promise to call once you got it and wrote down eight different numbers to reach her at in case of emergency or just in case I wanted to talk.
You smiled at her and saw a familiar feeling behind her eyes as she kissed your cheek.
On the drive home, Alfie mumbled about how they are a good lot of bad people. Something you would have to embrace unless you wanted to go off on your own.
“Thanks for going with me.” You said once settled in the beach house.
“No need to thank me.” He said brushing you off.
“If I were to go live with them, could I still work at the bakery?”
“Of course.” He gave you a tight smile and you felt bad for him being shut up in the house all the time.
“Can I stay over sometimes too? I love all of them but the kids, and the horses, and its - erm - a lot at times?”
“My house is always open to you, no matter what.” He patted your shoulder and you went off to bed.
Polly fussing over her unsure of what bad stuff had happened to her over the years. Wanting to help her figure out what actually happened to her Grandparents and starting one of those massive pinboards with string in the sitting room trying to help her piece it all together. Eventually, Esme and Lizzie got really invested in helping. Thomas wondering what's going on and poking his head in and all of them shouting at him to leave. Him muttering Women under his breath but sneaking in at night to circle a few things he thought was important in the evidence anyway.
Them actually cracking the case and being surprised when she wakes up to a newspaper on the kitchen table saying that a local Jewish gang was suspected in the murder of Arthur William Shelby Senior.
Being shocked and watching as the family all came over to the house. You finding it weird that they spend more time talking to you about your grandparents than they did mourn their father. Once they were sure you were alright the celebratory drinking started.
Isaiah suddenly always wanting to come over and hang out around Arrow House or Polly’s place whenever you were there. Finn teasing him endless amounts but also making it very clear that if it ended badly that Finn would do his job as your brother.
Alfie coming over constantly to bother Thomas and slowly becoming more of an uncle in your eyes. Always around to cause trouble.
Ruby fell in love with you, always insisting loudly that you had to be the one to carry her around. She’d often bust into your room at strange times to see if you wanted to play. Once you came up to your room to find her asleep in your bed.
Finally being able to laugh and speak your mind about literally anything. Listening to them rant about things or poke fun at you. Shopping, parties, trips to London to shop and party some more. You thought it funny that they would go to parties basically just to watch people and only interact with themselves despite always being around each other. The gossip was always very spicy.
Isaiah and you getting caught kissing on a street corner after a romantic date. A friend of Lizzie calling her saying she saw you. That going dramatically across the phone tree leading to you coming home and getting dragged into the kitchen for whiskey and interrogation. Was it good? Did he use tongue? Where were his hands? Did he walk you to the door or just wait in the car? He did wait to see that you got in right?!
Isaiah dealing with Tommy in the office when Alfie shows up and both of them being over protective dads.
Finally, your 19th birthday rolls around. Finn saying that he felt you might leave, try being on your own for a bit, or that maybe Isaiah would propose. Polly overhearing it and starting to worry about you to the point where she sits you down and has a long talk about what it’s like being on your own and the head of a house, what it's like being married. You interpret this as them feeling like you should leave. Esme catching you in your bathroom crying as she dropped your dress for the party off. Clearing up the misunderstanding she wipes the tears from your face and does your makeup for you. “I’m not ready to be a grown-up.” You whisper looking up at her dark eyes. The warm glow of your pink bathroom makes you feel even smaller. “Look you’ve got a hot boyfriend that your family will literally kill if he hurts you, a hot dress to wear, and your makeup is finally done properly. Party is going to be amazing because I planned most of it. All of this is growing up. With this much love, it won’t be so bad.” She kissed your forehead. “All that stuff Polly told you was about her life. Back then she didn’t have anyone as cool as us watching her back.”
The party becoming an absolute mess with some business deal going on in the background. Isaiah defending her bravely then going in for a big kiss in the middle of the entryway as things around them are falling apart. Guns firing, people screaming and throwing things. The whole thing wrapping up and you sitting in his lap in the kitchen sipping a whiskey out of his glass. The family finally feeling like he earned your attention and leaving you both alone for once.

Hi! Thanks for tagging me in this! I love this idea but I'm gonna have to be honest😂 I haven't seen to many of Cillian Murphy's movies. Peaky Blinders is the first thing I saw him in and I haven't had to chance to see many of his other movies yet. So I guess in order of most to favorite movies I've seen him in its
Batman Begins
The DarK Knight Rises
The Dark Knight
:) that's all I've seen but I really want to watch more! I've been thinking of trying to watch Inception though! I feel like I need to make a checklist and mark them as I go😂
Feeling very inspired by your Cillian Murphy filmography list so let’s play a game! List 5 of your favourite and 5 of your least favourite films of his and tag 10 people!
Ooh! Fun! Listing in no particular order, and to be fair, this was difficult to narrow down. There were redeeming features for most movies and good parts of most as well.
Favourite 5
Perrier’s Bounty
Sunburn
The Party
28 Days Later
The Wind that Shakes the Barley
Least Favourite 5
Cold Mountain
Watching the Detectives
Peacock
Aloft
The Edge of Love
I definitely removed all of the big movies from the list because I love Dunkirk, Inception and A Quiet Place 2, but they don’t really fit next to his other works.
I’m tagging 10 of you, feel free to play along or ignore me! :)

warnings: mentions of violence, blood.
There was always something about Finn Shelby that made Y/N feel more alive than ever before.
The mere sight of him would make her heart swoon. The thought of him would make its way into her mind at almost every moment of the day, filled with his kind words and his gentle gaze.
She has had a yearning for him from the very first moment they had set eyes on each other.

Peaky Rambles 6:
Ok so y'all remember how I'm S1 initially when Tommy questions Grace why she came to Birmingham since her references in Galway didn't check out. And y'all remember how his initial guess was because she got herself pregnant out of wedlock and she had a kid (Forshadowing? Irony?) Yall remember that part?....
Ok But what is she DID already have a kid? Maybe not a baby, but what if she did have a child of her own in S1 from when she was younger (she's like what 27ish 28? In S1? At least that's what she looks like, similar to Tommy's age?) and what if she left the child (I'm gonna say a girl for imagines sake) in Ireland while she was in Birmingham and never told Tommy about her.
Then you know all the S1-S2 drama happens and then Grace and Tommy go to get married and Grace finally tells him about the daughter (who's closer to Finn's age now) and now Tommy has a stepdaughter and Charlie. I think that would have be an interesting plot twist! And then once grace died Tommy would have been faced with raising two children both who probably reminded him of his late wife. I can see a lot of conflict arise then between the daughter and Tommy too if the girl blames Tommy for her mothers death!
And yeah, I think that could have been and interesting concept if it had occurred in the show. What if Grace really did have a child when she first came to Birmingham?

Peaky Rambles 5:
Ok here's an idea that's pretty short that I thought of and It seemed cute:
Remember when John and Tommy in season one were talking about making honest money out of the family business and Tommy imitated so their grandfather briefly and John says
"Do you remember when we were kids and you use to do the voices"
or something along those lines? First off that was such a cute scene and I wish we had more like it. Especially after season one and especially between Tommy and John, because I get they were very much polar opposites when it came to how they thought but I wish we had more brotherly moments like this between them. Because it's so cute imagining a young Tommy and John, when Tommy is still taller than John and they are sitting on 16 year old Arthur's bed waiting for him get back from dragging their father back from the bar. And maybe like a toddler Ada is squished between them trying to eat John's buttons because their mum is with Polly and they were told not to let the baby out of sight. But it's getting late and 10 year old Tommy can't keep 5 year old John's attention anymore. And when John's looses his attention things get broken and they defiantly don't want their father coming home to broken things. Not while their mother's gone. So Tommy tries one last effort to tell a story if John promises not to mess with the gun they both know is hidden in Arthur's desk and Tommy doesn't want John to accidentally hurt Ada while playing with the gun. So he started telling a random story he remembers hearing from Polly one day in his normal voice and even then John doesn't seem to into it. But when Tommy starts making different voices (slow and deep for the grand tree of high and fast for the small mouse) and John starts to laugh. And Tommy likes it too even though John is only laughing at the voices and little Tommy loves to make his sibling smile. And soon enough they would like get lost in the stories and both Tommy and John would fall asleep on Arthur's bed while Ada would still be between them wide awake from their laughter! And ohhh!! I like that idea and just wish we had a few more stories from when they were younger and the family wasn't as broken as it became😭

Ok so @twelvebomshell-blog hi! I'm sorry it took so long to respond but here is my response to this article you sent and asked my to look at about Finn and Duke and the Peaky Blinders movie! I'm gonna put it under the cut because i started to ramble...
Ok so this is really late but I was finally able to get around to reading the article! (I'm sorry it took me a bit classes got busy and then thanksgiving was too) But I finally got to read it and It was pretty interesting!
First off I agree with you and can't really see Finn as a villain. I really think that like the article mentioned with how he was kinda isolated from his family he really doesn't have the ability to go head to head as the others did. Plus even with his character I feel like he'd be more likely to actually just leave with his wife and not come back. Like even is he is furious and hurt about what happens I can see it being the breaking point where he just doesn't want anything to do with them at all even if it means revenge.
I also agree with you about Duke. I didn't really like his character much and I really do think he was just thrown in last minute as a plot point after Helen McCrory died🥲 I think it was SK's way of trying to get another young person in the film since Finn (Michael) can't be in the movie anymore and Harry wants to do other stuff (which is understandable) and I don't think SK wanted to make Charlie take over the business. Plus I can't see Tommy abandoning a child even if it was from a one night stand. It would have made for sense for Duke to be one of John's sons coming back. Or even Arthur's son! Heck it would have made for sense for him to be a half brother of theirs than it did for him to be Tommy's long lost son.
And back to the point I really don't completely blame Finn for Polly's death as he was taken advantage by Billy. The Finn and Billy relationship seems to be like why S1 Tommy and Grace's could have been (minus the romance) if Grace hadn't changed sides. I think Finn really didn't know what Billy was and saw him as a brother after John died.
So over all I think the article was interesting and brought up some good point however I personally don't think we'll see as the big bad or if we see him at all. Or at least I don't think it would be the best plot for the movie if he was the bad guy. I feel like the whole family betrayal phase has happened more than once with the family (First Tommy putting everyone in jail and the Michael being Michael) and I feel like if they did it again it may be over played. I think it would be more interesting if it focused more of WWII and how that's affecting everything rather than just the family drama. I honestly kind hope Finn's role is done in the way that if he isn't there I can pretend he started getting a better life and survived the war and stuff😂 At least one of the Shelby siblings needs to get a happy ending.
But if he was part of the movie I do have an idea for what part I'd like him to play. Because if he isn't in the movie I want him to live but if he is I hate to say it but I can see him dying in it. I feel like it would be some sort of poetic irony if he dies during the war and the only way his remaining siblings find out about is either when the KIA letter comes or when like Mary come back with their kid and like runs into the siblings and just goes off on them in her grief for all they did. I actually have a story planned out with an idea involving Finn and WWII that I really want to write out and post to my other account but idk if I'll get to it before December😂
And yeah, sorry for the rambling😂 long story short I found the article interesting, I agree with you able Dukes Character, and As much as I like Harry Kirton (or what I know about him) I don't think he's going to make an app wrench as Finn in the movie. I think Finn's time with the family has passed and considering the coming events he's not likely to survive WWII especially if SK continues with his pattern of killing everyone off.
Once again I'm sorry it took a while to get back to you about it! I had to start studying for midterms and then my thanksgiving was busy and now I have like two weeks before my finals start and I wasn't able to get on here much! Thank you for sending me the link! It was interesting to read and even though I slightly dread what will happen I'm interested to do what happens in the movie!! I hope you have a great day!! Thanks for discussing with me in enjoyed it and your more than welcome to ask more if you want!❤️❤️❤️

Loose Cannon 1:
Ok hi! Once again here's a new game I made to play! I'm going to give y'all the mini plot of an idea for a Peaky Blinders fic stuck in my head. But the thing is, this story is based off the plot of another Movie, Show, or Literature. And y'all get to guess what plot the story is based off! I will the the answer under the cut part of anyone interested to know. I figure it's a good way to clear my head of some of the ideas stuck up there and also what them with y'all! Idk if I'd ever get to writing these stories with more detail or not but I just thought I'd share the ideas and may they can inspire someone else too!❤️ But with out further ramblings here's the first one:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It starts off in the early 1900's maybe 1903? We have two young lovers. man and woman (who are really more boy and girl) who meet at night under the bridge by the cut. Unfortunately these two lovers come from different families who are often at war. They even planned to run away together at one point and start anew life. Tragically on the very night the couple planned to leave their love was uncovered and the young man is sent away to New York to avoid further conflict. To his family, love doesn't matter, and the girl will only bring the family down. An incident only whispered about in the shadows thou never spoken out loud. Planted rumours of why he left began to spread within the hour. However the young woman doesn't know what happened to the young man, only that he never showed up their spot. Only that he seemingly abandoned her without notice? Maybe he never really did love her and was only a passing fantasy? Maybe his family really was as bad as they said? Soon her bleeding heartbreak had turned to a burning furnace of betrayal. She had heard he was engaged all this time and had finally been send off to his holy matrimony! Was she just another tick in his belt before the big day? Another notch on his bed before the shackle was locked? How dare he? Is she wasn't worth his time then why should be tears of him be worth hers?The woman is heart broken and the young man's name was Luca Changretta
A few days later the young woman is at a new bar. She meets another man that night, young and handsome, who her laugh and told her stories of his family, but he too was also full of his own sadness. His own love had just died of consumption, he wanted to drown of his feelings but the no amount of alcohol could help his thirst. The pair made love in the horse stables run up along the Cut. The hay smelled different that the stones under the bridge where her and Luca made live but the man above her was different as well. Two broken people begging for forget their pain without words....at least for a single night. In the morning when the sun rose and the whiskey wore off the pair parted ways. It wasn't that they didn't connect, given more time they likely would have become close friends, maybe even more. But that is not the path fate would take. It was still to soon for them both, their own pain was still to fresh, and their lives still to busy. He has to care for his own family now, his mother had just died and his father went off. He had so many siblings depending on his help, he didn't have time to be the man he was a few months ago. He didn't have time to be young and carefree anymore. And She still planned on leaving, she had never wanted to stay anyway. The memories still to painful and their burden to heavy in the smoke filled streets. So this time it was her who left, in the last train (the very one Luca left on days before) in the dark night, leaving only a note for her sister. And though she didn't plan on seeing the young man again she would remember his name. She would remember Thomas Shelby.
And it was the very next day when the young woman met a third man, a young Jewish Boxer which a fine beard and quick mouth. Though her final destination wasn't London, the young woman still decided to stay a few days. However on the first day luck would find her at a boxing match. It was right as their eyes first met when a forceful blow to the face had sent the young man to ground. His left eye was bruised and his nose had started to bleed two hits ago, but that didn't stop him from winking as the young woman. He then moved to get up and with a few powerful hits his opponent was on the ground...out cold. In less than a minute he had grabbed a towel to wipe off this face and jumped over the ring walls to land informs of the woman. With a sly smile and gruff tone he informed her that seeing as he had taken a fall hit for her, it was only fair for her to take him for a drink with her winnings. Shocked and amused by his confidence she had obliged and despite his first comment the man ended up paying for every drink that night. This man was neither as romantic as Luca or put together as Thomas. He spoke gruffly but honestly, not afraid to curse or shove the drunken bodies of others out of their way at the bar. He still made her laugh though and told stories of his new dog, and like with Thomas for a brief moment the young woman was able to forget her heartbreak of only a week ago. The woman and the boxer made love in his bed that night, a room that smelled of bread and a dog (who had been left in the living room). Again it was different than with Luca or Tommy but still the night was just a memorable. In the morning the young woman prepared to leave again. The young boxer had tried to convince her to stay one more day, but in the end relented to accepting the one starry night. And so he like Tommy took her to the station and helped her on to her train giving her some bread for her journey. Telling her that is she ever wished to come back she'd be welcome with open arms and warm bread. He was gruff and loud and all other so different from both Luca and Tommy. But even years later she'd remember her time with the young man named Alfie Solomons.
About twenty years later and all have gone their separate ways. The three young men hadn't heard from the young woman. who was now not so young, but neither were they. Though each man still thought of her from to time to time each realized that fate would come as fate would go. And if their time was only a stitch in the long string of life then so it would be. Though each sometimes wondered what could have been the answer never came and it was as if the young woman herself was a whisper in the shadows, fading away in the winds of lost time and old memories.
Until one day the letters came...
Three different men. All of who were very different in almost every way. Different looks, ideas, backgrounds, personalities and so much more. These men were about as different as they could be, though there was some beliefs they shared. They all believed in their families (or those who loved) and they all believed in the woman they had met at least for a day almost two decades ago. They knew she existed despite any evidence to prove otherwise. And then the evidence came.
Three identical letters for three different men. Three identical letters send to three different cities. Three identical letters all saying one thing.
Three identical letters all inviting the man to a wedding....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/n: that's the idea! Can anyone guess what movie the plot is inspired by? I think the end is the biggest clue! Only my story probably wouldn't have as much dancing as the original though I'd love to see our favorite gangsters burst into song! 😂 And anyways, that's the idea! I hope y'all enjoyed my Peaky take on .....*drum roll*.....
✨MAMMA MIA!!!!!✨
See y'all next time! Y'all a great!!❤️

Peaky Rambles 4.75:
Ok so this is really short but it just popped in my head and made me laugh. But.
It the end events of S4-S6 didn't happen and everyone one was alive and like Polly and Abrama (I still can't spell his name someone help :/) got married..... Bonnie and Michael would have been step brothers...
and idk why but that idea just makes me laugh! I'm also interested to know how the family dynamic would have works form that point and would Polly and gone back on the Road and how that dynamic would have changed how some of them lived? Because we know like the Golds lived in their caravans and Polly lived in the house the boys bought her? But I just wonder if The Golds would have moved into the house or if Polly would have moved to live in the Caravans? Also I hope I'm wording this properly and I not offending anyone! I have a hard time wording things sometimes. I think either option is plausible I'm just curious to what may have happened? But the idea of Michael and Bonnie being stepbrothers makes me giggle😂 they seem live very opposite people!
Also I want to know what happens to the Gold Sisters after their Father died? Like we know there were three of them and I'm sure they had other family but there did they go? Dammit SK for leaving so many characters plots open!!!!

Peaky Rambles 4.5:
We know the Shelby family comes from Roma heritage (I can't think of that's the right term for it off the top of my head, please feel free to correct me if it's wrong). But we know in the show when a family member dies the funeral takes place with the deceased being burned in a caravan right?
So my question is why did their mother have a gravestone?
I know it's mentioned in S1 there's the scene where Tommy takes Finn to their moms grave and I thinks that when he tells Finn he's going to have to watch out for himself from then on. But it just makes me wonder why she would have a gravestone and wasn't burned in a caravan like the rest of those who died? Was it because they couldn't buy/get one at the time? We know they were still pretty poor around the time their mom died. Was it because their dad was still incharge then and didn't care about it enough to put in effort for a proper funeral? I can see that happening as well. Or do they even burn the decreased and make them a grave too? Like does John have a grave by their mother as well? Would it be right by Freddie and Martha? Because that just wouldn't make too much sense to me. Is it just SK with his regular continuity errors? Most likely but I'm still curious to know others thoughts....

Oh! That actually makes sense about their father! I wasn't sure the if the scene I was thinking of was for his "funeral" or not so thanks for letting me know!! I think I remember that too know Tommy getting the letter! Because I remembered he was in the US when he died but I couldn't remember if they actually like brought his body back and did anything but also given the relationships between them that wouldn't make sense!
You're right about Finn's character development really coming down to the writing I think! It seemed like the only brother he interacted more with or connected with was John and then then Joe Cole left they decided to use Finn as a way to fill in the place without leaving space for the development:/ The most he seemed involved in the plot (until S6 which really just seemed thrown in) was the episode in S1 where he almost gets blown up in Tommy's car by the lees:/ then they just kinda leave him alone and it seems like they don't remember him a lot which is sad:/
And I also wish we got to see more potential with the New Blinders too!!!! Like I wish we got to see more Bonnie, Finn, and Isiah together! And honestly if he hadn't become an a hole Michael too! But like I would have liked to see more of the new generation blinders too but alas they all "had" to die off or be written off terribly😭 I wish is SK had ended up focusing more on the entirety of the blinders rather than just Tommy even though I gets that it really is a show about Tommy. But you know.. I can always have the ideas in my head😂😅😅
Thanks for reblogging and helping me figure out the Shelby Sr thing and four your insight! I always enjoy it❤️❤️
Peaky Rambles 4:
This one I thought about writing the second one. Also once again I'm not completely sure if this is cannon accuracy's but I think I'm thinking of the right scene:
The first time Finn Shelby saw his father he had just turned eleven years old. The second time Finn Shelby saw his father he was twenty and it was when they went to bury the man.
Ok so I can't actually remember if in the scene I'm thinking if it's their father they are burying but I thought it's maybe a good idea. It the one where they are all dressed in black (unusual I know) and are all on like black horses and I think one of them is pulling a casket in like a wooded background, but I don't think it's from when John died. And I can't remember if the family actually buried their father but the idea came to me and stuck. Not because it's necessary what is actually happening, but because it made me think about how Finn would have felt.
Like here was a man he met once and now they have to bury him. It's been almost a decade since the last time Fin saw him and all he may remember was that this many was why Arthur (Jr but still the only "Arthur" Finn thinks of knowing) almost killer himself soon after. And we know much Arthur Jr seem to love Arthur Sr (at least before the last time) and it was likely because out of all the siblings as the oldest he may have remembered a time when their Father wasn't as much as a horrible person as he was and still clung to those memories. From the series we know that Arthur isn't emotionally repressed like Tommy and in fact is very loose with his emotions. It seems like every thing Arthur Jr does is with strong passion and that could be good or bad and he is also very very loyal to those he cares for. So it makes sense for him to cling to the better memories of their father. And then we know how much the middle three siblings and Polly hate the Shelby Father for what he's done and rightly so...
But Finn. I'm not super sure how he would feel, but I can honestly see him not caring too much at all. Like their father was never around enough for Finn to really form a close hate or live relationship with him and I feel like Finn had trouble forming bonds with people he doesn't get the chance to know. Like he may feel bad the man is dead but I can also see him not really looking to much into it and just going through the motions with his family because he feels like he has too or someone will try and correct him. Finn seems like the person to desperately care for attention from those he cares about.
In season 5 when he told Arthur and Tommy he found a girl he wanted to marry and all he could say about her was she "liked the life". First off I want to put emphasis on how "life" and not "me" meaning that I don't think he really knew too much about the girl other than she gave him attention because he could get her drugs and drinks and the thrill of gangster life. Which makes me feel bad because like if I want to marry someone the first thing I want to think about them is how they like me for me and not what I can give them first if that makes sense. But I really think he only liked the girl and said that because he wanted his brothers to be proud of him or notice him because he found someone who could "fit with the family ways" and allow Finn to be more like them. Through the whole series we see Finn trying to be like his brothers or at least be noticed by them. Because even after he tells them he found the first girl Tommy tells him to find a girl who "doesn't like the life" and he eventually does with Mary (at least from the small bit we saw of her... I kinda wish we had more in the end) But even then when he does and actually seems to find someone who loves him for him and actually pays attention/cares for him as more than a worker, his brothers still condensed him (but again that's another topic)
Ok back on topic.... but the point is that I think Finn Shelby is someone who has a hard time forming solid and real bonds and he's the type of person who takes time to care for someone for than just them being a general human. And I think that if he didn't have time to form those bonds he may like the person but really wouldn't be too affected by their death even if he saw them regularly. Like I think Finn Shelby is the person who will only cry after someone in their direct family dies or his best friend dies or his lover or his pet. So since their father was never around I think that when he died it Finn may have cared a bit, but not very much. At least in the sense that it would have affected him as much as the rest.
Note: I really hope I worded that correctly and it didn't come off as too harsh or insensitive. I'm just trying to convey how Finn seems like he has a hard time making strong bonds and if those bonds aren't made he's much less affected by why happens to that person, no matter who they are or should be. And I don't want to portray it as a bad thing it's just sometime I've noticed and thought I may comment on!

Peaky Rambles 3:
TW: mentions of SA/attempted SA
I don't think there was a single pool/billiards table in Arrow House or any of the establishments the Shelby's owned.
At least there definitely probably wasn't one in Arrow House and I can honestly get why. It's the partially the same reason why Tommy hates music and dancing (thanks to everyone who had input on that too I loved all the ideas!) But the reason there aren't any pool tables are because of one person.
Grace
And honestly I think I can actually understand why. In my mind I'm thinking if the scene from season one where Tommy lets Kimber have her alone for two hours at the races. And then while Kimber and Grace are there he tries to force her to have sec with him and like tries to bend her over the pool table before Tommy arrives and says Grace was actually a whore with the clap. I hated Tommy for doing that whole thing in the first place and I can actually see Grace being at least slightly traumatized by it. I kinda wish she had given Tommy more crap for it than she did because that really was a shitty thing for him to do.
Like she was literally almost SA'd and I can see if maybe affecting her later on. I can see her gettin nervous around pool tables or maybe even having nightmares for a bit about what could have happened if Tommy didn't arrive. Which again is completely understand able and I think SK could have done her character better if he made that play in to her development more along with the scene where she killed a man for the first time (the guy who follows her around the corner and she ends up shooting and then like crying (again understandably) because she shot him) and yeah. Like he kind brushed both those moments off to make her the "perfect love interest" and it's kinda stunted her character in my eyes a bit. My mom also mentioned one how she's portrayed as the only "light" in Tommy's life for a while and she's also coincidentally the only blonde female with non period styled hair but that's another topic. I think it would have been interesting to see how those events affected her characters growth though and like maybe how those could have led her to regretting betraying Tommy in the end. Because we know it's because she loved him SK makes its clear but also I wonder if her not wanting to work with Campbell any more could have been influenced by his decision to work with Kimber in the end? Like I'm sure Campbell knew what ended up happening at the races and if he really was also "in love" with Grace (his late best friends daughter🤮🤮) like it's made out the be then like how could he also work with the man who also my SA'd her? Like we know the Inspector and Kimber are totally A-holes but it still interesting to think if that had any influence on Grace's "side change" in the end either.
But yeah. Basically I don't think Arrow House despite them seeming to be popular in like really really rich people mansions then (at least from what I've see) because I can see Tommy not wanting to remind Grace of what almost happened to her at them. And I can see them not being at the Shelby pubs/or at least the Garrison for the same reason. Regardless or not of how she treated his family and if she was good for Tommy he really did love her/deeply care for her and I could see him wanting to not make her relive that moment. And yeah.... it was just something small I thought of....

Peaky Rambles 2.5:
Tommy's mid life crisis was him marrying the woman who almost completely destroyed and betrayed his family and who he also knew for less than a year before she ran to a whole other country instead of the pretty horse trainer who adored him and didn't betray his family.....
That is all...
*note I have no idea what mid life crisis age is but given the Shelby life span it could be any time...*

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I actually have like two more quickish ones I wanted to post earlier also relating to Finn but I haven't done them yet😂 Despite the events of S6 he still one of my favorite characters honestly. I feel like SK used characters like him and Karl and Billy and Charlie when he wanted to have a kid in the script to like lighten to mood at times l, but then SK forgot kids grow up and he doesn't know what to do with them when they get older so he just makes the disappear or like makes them an ass....
Peaky Rambles 2:
So this may be more on the depressing side but here's an a quickly written idea that I thought of earlier and though it may be an interesting possibility. (Tw:mentions of violent deaths):
The only people Finn Shelby's ever seen kill are his own family...or at least they were the first.
I think Finn Shelby was ten years old when he first saw one man kill another. He knew he was suppose to stay with Ada back at the house but then she left while he was in the bathroom and he wanted to follow after her. But having gotten a bit behind he got there right as all the drama was ending. And he got there right as a bullet was put into Billy Kimber's forehead. Put there by his brother Thomas. That was one of the first nights he could remember having nightmares but not sneaking into the bed of his Aunt or Siblings. He couldn't do that...not this time. They may not have even realized he was there that time. After the event he had stood still around the corner of the building he hid behind when the shots went off. He didn't know how long he started at his feet trying to figure out what he had just seen when Pastor Jesus came around the corner himself after finishing patching up Tommy. After making sure the boy was unharmed Jeremiah walked him back into the garrison where Finn spent the rest of the night sitting by Ada and Isaiah playing with baby Karl, while avoiding looking in his brothers' directions though he still wasn't sure what happened....
The second time Finn Shelby saw one man kill another was when he was thirteen almost fourteen. Him and Isiah were at the boxing rink, and the coach kept yelling at him to do better. All of the sudden he turned around to see a fight that had gone too far. This time a boy who probably wasn't much older than was being repeatedly hit by his opponent who seemed to have gotten stuck in his head. Over and over until the younger man didn't move anymore and the older one finally seemed to snap out of it. Unlike the first time this one was an accident, caused by the war mangled thoughts that had overrun the others. And it was that fact that scared Finn more this time. The time he watched his brother Arthur kill an innocent boy. That was the second time he had ever seen someone killed and the first time he ever doubted Tommy's words as his brother told Finn and Isaiah what story to say. He knew Arthur would go to jail if the truth came out, but after the dead boy's mother came barging in a few days later he still found himself throwing up in the ally behind the Garrison despite not having anything to drink yet.
(And because I can't quite remember where he was when this actually happened/what happed specifically then... but I can still see it happening here's this one)
The third time Finn Shelby ever saw one man kill another Fourteen. Except this time the killer was a women. One who he knew was more than capable of killing but he never thought she'd actually do it. It was a few motnths after Arthur killed the boy and now they were at the races. Finn didn't expect anyone to die at the races. The races were fun but he wanted some money to try and place a bet of his own so when he saw her hurrying across the floor with a look he'd never seen before he followed her. But she was faster than him and soon she turned down a hall that lead to the phone booths where he knew there was only one way in. Deciding to give her privacy for her call, he waited again around the corner watching the people in fancy clothes pass by, and ignoring the muffled voices around the wall. But he jumped when he soon heard a few shots ring out from around the wall as his panic arose and before he could see if the woman was safe she hurried back around the corner not a hair out of place as she passed him by. It was as if she still had a too many thoughts running through her head of dreaded past events to recognize the wide eyed boy who was once again not sure what occurred. And for a second time Finn stood staring at his feet before the dreaded curiosity won him over and he looked around the corner towards the phone booths. One look was all he needed before the bile rose up in his throat and Finn shot off towards the nearby trash can to throw up. Passers by would think it was because he was drunk. Finn knew who the man was the one who, along with the runway barmaid that broke Tommy's heard, had caused so much trouble for the family when he was ten. But Finn thought he was gone, he didn't know that the man had come back. His family never told him anything, even though they seemed to want him to know everything at times. So he didn't know the man had returned and he didn't know the man was why his new cousin went to jail so suddenly for a while. And he didn't know what the dead man had made the woman do for his cousin to be released. All Finn knew was he had just heard his beloved Aunt Polly kill a man in the phone booth only a few meters away. And that made him a big sick...
In conclusion I think that though Finn Shelby's absolutely grew up around violence and general crime, his family also had a habit of keeping him out of it (at least until John died). That's one of the reasons why he ended up being so much softer than the rest of his family. Truthfully he didn't experience most of the violent and mental traumas that they all had growing up and as he grew. And while I definitely think his family ended up kind of ignoring him for their own lives unless they need a worker (that's a whole different rabbit whole though) in doing so they managed to hide him from a good bit of the blood they saw. But because they kept tried keeping him so far from the violence and death and murder for so long, the only time he saw it.... was when it was caused by them.

Hey Y'all! Let's play a new game called "Why I'd Die!" It's easy. Y'all just take your favorite show or movie and tell us why you WOULDN'T survive for very long! I'll go first:
I wouldn't survive very long in Peaky Blinders for one simple reason. Y'all know that thing Tommy does when he like grabs people face between his hand. Not "hands" like when he's lovingly holding Grace's face in his hands, but like when he grabs Finn's face in the "No Fucking Fighting" scene with one hand or Esme's in another. Y'all remember that thing? Yeah. See I may be able to survive the gang wars and feuds and general dangers of the 1920's (probably not) but the second Tommy would grab my face with one hand I'd be DEAD!! Because if anyone grabs my face my general reaction is to grab theirs back. It's kind of a quid pro quo situation but completely lacing instinct😂. And if Tommy were to grab my face and squish my cheeks to get close and threatening, my only choice would be to grab his face and squish back. Only my grab would done with complete commentary of ✨squish squish✨ Because that is the only noise to make when grabbing someone's cheeks. The I would follow it up with a laugh because I laugh when I'm nervous which would absolutely not help the situation. Tommy would like come up and grab my face all mad asking if I betrayed the family and I'd probably just stare for a moment and reach up an ✨squish squish✨ before laughing and those would probably be my last words ever....
And yeah. It wouldn't matter if we are friends, lovers, enemies or anything else. It wouldn't matter how pissed off he is either. When someone grabs my face it's not the Fight or Flight instinct option I get, it the Fight, Flight, or Squish back and I will always choose squish. And if Tommy squish the I too will squish...
And that's why I wouldn't live long in Peaky Blinders.... Also because unless they are blood related to him women in Peaky have a habit of being killed off, run of, or they just disappear after a while and y'all know SK's general trendlines!
OK WHOS NEXT!!!😂😂
