Official (new!) home of the 2018 Bendy and the Ink Machine AU/fanfiction, Henry's Path, currently being rewritten and reimagined for new and old fans alike.

ABOUT

Henry's Path, as mentioned above, is a BatIM AU that I had come up with and written a fic for all the way back in 2018. While I hold the original near and dear to my heart, the writing is far from polished or even good at all. It Sucks Bad.

With my recent fall back into the fandom, I wanted to rework it into my own personal "modern" standards, changing and adding new concepts that I hadn't thought up before as well as providing an even larger mystery that will, hopefully, leave fans new AND old wondering what the hell is going on.

Henry's Path is the culmination of all of those old now obsolete BatIM theories that were plausible before Dark Revival released. While I won't go into which ones just yet (spoilers!), I can promise you that there's a bunch of oldies here that were pretty common back in the day.

FAQ

Can I read the original somewhere?

With the deletion of my Wattpad account there is no longer a publicly available source for the original fic that isn't an archive in my personal Google Drive. I will NOT be reuploading the original, mostly out of embarrassment at how bad it was, but I will be posting comparisons between the old and new fics from time to time if applicable.

Is there a posting schedule?

No. Absolutely not. The fic will be uploaded as each chapter is finished on my own time. My motivation comes and goes drastically and I hate to make promises I can never keep. That being said, do not be surprised if this project takes a months-long hiatus out of nowhere.

Do you have references of what the characters look like?

Yep! All references and character info will be placed in the Important Links section below. I will only post characters that have made an appearance in the uploaded story so far, and a lot of information will be obscured until it's no longer spoiler territory.

If this is an old concept, will BatDR and future entries be ignored?

I actually spent a long time thinking about whether I'd include anything from BatDR or not, but I think I have found a way for some of the concepts to work. I won't explain how right now, but some aspects of BatDR will be added in within reason and as long as I can explain why. Novels are ignored for the most part. I only ever read Dreams Come to Life when it first came out and I didn't like it. I may references some book-exclusive characters here and there, but that's about it. If for some god forsaken reason B3ndy comes out before I'm done with all this it will NOT affect how this story plays out. I already have my outline done leave me alone........

I noticed you post a lot of screenshots of a wiki. Is that public?

That's just my personal Obsidian wiki. It will not be made public, but a lot of information will be transferred to a public Google doc in due time.

If you can't handle that or are caught acting like a child (IE: demanding art, being unnecessarily rude, etc.) then you may take your leave. I'd prefer you all to be 16+, but I know I can't stop anyone. I've been there.

Fanart/Fanfics

You are allowed to make fan creations! I always love it when people enjoy our work enough to be inspired. I only ask to keep it SFW and all. Please feel free to tag me if you do post anything related to this AU! I will reblog it so you can be featured here.
