This lesson was the most interesting for me for the first quarter since most of the time I use different types of media and I haven’t given importance to those little details like the camera angles, the background sounds, the lighting and many more which I had fun learning more about.

Even though we already had this lesson in the past school years, I still find it fascinating to learn the different types of media since information is very important and using different types of media can affect its value. Using the suitable type of media can greatly benefit us.

STOP CYBERBULLYING
First of all, what is cyberbullying? According to a federal government website managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services stopbullying.gov, Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior. The most common places where cyberbullying occurs are:Social Media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tik TokText messaging and messaging apps on mobile or tablet devicesInstant messaging, direct messaging, and online chatting over the internetOnline forums, chat rooms, and message boards, such as RedditEmailOnline gaming communities.
We should always think before we type since it may hurt others, not all forms of abuse leave bruises and hiding behind a screen doesn’t make it less hateful.

The Evolution Of Media
This lesson was interesting for me because I was also curious of what was media like in the past where there are limited knowledge since there are many things that have not yet been discovered back then.
Through this lesson I was amazed on the progress of the media that we have now compared to the past which makes me feel thankful since information is more accessible which helps us in our daily lives and helps create a better future

Through our discussion of the introduction of media and information Literacy, there are many things that I learned like the terms media which refers to the objects that we use to communicate, information literacy which is the ability to recognize, evaluate, and locate information, and the other terms like information, media literacy, literacy and many more. I also learned in our discussion the different laws of media and information literacy. I was happy to learn these things and I hope that I can apply this in my life.

Hi! My name is Bertklin Beda A. Herrera, a student in University of Perpetual Help, currently in grade 12 section 3 of the STEM strand.
I was on on the year 2002 in the 26th day of the month of October. I am the youngest in our family with 3 older sisters. We have 6 dogs in our house which is why it is always so noisy in our house and I’d like to have a cat too but it seems that it won’t survive even a minute in our house.
Aside from spending my time eating, sleeping, and playing with our dogs I mostly spend my time playing games and watching animes but i rarely do that nowadays because I prefer reading manga, manhwa, and manhua since it is a lot longer than their animated counterpart.
