Aside from creating my new blog, I’m debating on changing my pen name too. I want to keep it as Itzel but I’ve always loved the name Xochitl. Both are indigenous names to Mexico, Xochitl is Nahuatl for “flower”, and Itzel is Mayan for “rainbow” or “rainbow lady” after the Mayan goddess Ixchel.

Hey everyone, I had thought about it carefully, and I decided I will just remake Wanda. I enjoy her writing on here very much and I’ve enjoyed the dynamics I’ve created with all of you. Thank you all for your kind words and your patience with me. I do appreciate them and all of you. Love you all so much.

“I don’t know, I didn’t get his name down, mom.” Wanda replied in a snarky tone, followed with rolling her violet eyes. She pressed the package of frozen peas to the left side of her face, that was swollen and her eye was sealed shut. She wasn’t in much of a mood to be playing fifty questions with Clint at five in the morning. Her knuckles were bloodied and cut up from getting into a fight at one of a dive bar where her favorite punk band was playing at last night. She and others were bar hoping once the show was over, of course ending up in a sketchy biker bar.

One thing led to another, and a brawl had broken out between the punks and the bikers. She had headbutted the woman, slamming her forehead into the woman'a nose, breaking it. She had turned her attention to the man, jumping on top of him to divert his attention onto her. Wanda didn’t use her powers once during the whole brawl, her status as a mutant wasn't something she wanted to risk. It was why she took the beating over using her powers, and really, it only served to make Wanda more angry. She was seething with rage that she had just allowed herself to get beaten up by a man twice her size. “Just go to bed or something, I can handle myself.” She spat angrily, it was better to just push Clint away. Wanda knew she was causing enough problems for him, and he too was fragile, there was only so much that he could take before he was pushed to his limit.

“What about Peter?” Wanda raised an eyebrow incredulously, before shaking her head. “My favorite thing about him is the fact that he’s a kind person. Even to his villains, he has every right to be mean to them, but he chooses not to be. I also love that he’s funny, he’s always wise cracking, and they make me smile and laugh.”

“Yes, well, do you know how they say myths and monsters aren’t real? Well, they’re as real as you and me. And in this building, I can sense and smell a vampire.” Wanda had her nose covered, not because Ghost was in proximity, no he smelt a lot better, which was why Wanda was getting closer to him, so his smell could mask part of the putrid scent of death that hung in the air. It could be argued the smell was the condemned building he had brought her to stay in. She didn’t know what was worse, that he was making her stay in a condemned and decrepit apartment building, or that there was a vampire hiding somewhere inside.

She shook her head Wanda inched closer towards Ghost, she had gingerly reached out to take the end of Ghost shirt, once she did, she gripped it tightly. She looked wearily at Ghost to the building, then back at him again. "You really can't be serious? Why can't I stay at my apartment? It's nice, and it's a penthouse on the Upper East Side." She bemoaned this mess she was in, Wanda just wanted to go home, take a shower, and maybe a nap. The abandoned apartment complex was far from the luxurious apartment that Wanda stayed at, and she was not having this at all. Wanda could tell Ghost wasn't going to change his mind, especially because a possible vampire was lurking. "It wouldn't attack me, but I can't say it wouldn't do the same for you." She was going to have to follow Ghost around to make sure he wasn't a vampire's next meal, but she thought of possibly using it against any pursuers if their hideout is compromised.

"The thought never occurred to me, really." Wanda murmured softly, she shook her head, looking away from the Red Priestess. She had felt something reminiscent of shame, it felt as though Melisandre was scolding her for Wanda's carelessness. It had felt strange and surreal to be in this scenario, to be scolded by a Red Priestess, but stranger things were happening. "Let me guess, you saved me because I have a larger role in this whole mess going on. Your Lord of Light gave you a vision about me?" 

What hated the whole "predestined fate" notion that many spouted, even the religious figures like Melisandre or the septons spread these notions because their gods told them so. Still, Wanda was grateful to have been saved by the Red Priestess who lead knights of Stannis Baratheon's court. "I suppose I do owe you a debt for saving my life. What do you want from me?" Wanda sighed, crossing her arms as she stepped over the bodies of the dead bandits to meet with Melisandre, who was on horseback.
