"Nobody said that I loved you." Adrianna laughed. "I did, yeah, but I have always been a beach bum, you know this."

"I like to flirt, that's part of who I am and why people love me so much." Emir chuckled. "I did, yeah. How about you?"

"Uh yeah, I'm a tough bitch." Adrianna laughed and looked at her and shrugged. "I'm fine, yeah. Whenever I need to relieve stress or anything like that, I go to a rage room or I go boxing or something like that. Or I journal. All of those help a lot." She said. "Well fuck all that bullshit, I'm sorry Belle. You don't need any of them though."

Belle smirked, setting her drink down with a light clink. "Classic you." She leaned back slightly in her seat, eyes narrowed playfully. "You could be bleeding out and still be like, it's fine, just a scratch." She grinned, then softened her tone just a bit. "But seriously… even if you don't complain I'm still gonna ask. You sure everything's really good? Because if it's not, I've got time. If you're not feeling like venting then you can be my mentor and tutor me about how to handle the mall that I'm suddenly in charge of when Daddy went MIA after we found out about the affair."

"Nate, I doubt you'd ever become one of those politicians, nobody would let you become one of them." Adrianna promised witha laugh. "Well I'm glad you two are together, I feel like you two were always meant to be end game."

"I would hope and I still hope that I never become one of those types of politicians. I would hate myself too much if I did." He said. "Things with Serena are great though. It still feels like a dream that her and I are together."

"Did you not have any fun in Kildare? No one paid you to track anyone? Topper? Rafe? None of them hired you to do a job for the week or so that we were there?"

"Girl if I'm ever not welcoming tht means there is something seriously wrong." Vanessa said and took the glass of wine from her friend. "Nothing, I mean I went on that trip and now I'm here. How about you?"

"That is so fucking gross." Adrianna shook her head. "For them and the director, we honestly need to bring talent back to Hollywood."

"I've tried and they don't give a fuck, or the director really wants to sleep with them so they hire them."

"Who said I didn't bring you anything?" Emir asked with a smile and hugged her. "I'm doing better now that I see you. How about you Barnes?"

Roxanne laughed. "I doubt it, I feel like it'll be the same shit just in a different." She admitted.

"That's why I'm not interesting, I'm in school." Luca laughed and looked at her. "It's going really good, though school has always come natural to me."

"We are, but at least you don't have to deal with wannabee actresses that have no talent at all."

"Nothing at all." Adrianna laughed. "I have no life outside my business, do you know how bad that is?"

"I'm doing really good." Serena smiled at Adrianna. "How about you? What's been new with you? I feel like it's been ages since we last saw each other and it sucks so much."

"Well why are you hiding?" Adriann asked. "Does it have anything to do with your ex fiance being here?" She asked. "If so, then fuck him, you don't need him."

"honestly, i should thank you for inviting me out." sofia looked at adrianna. "i feel like i just hide so much in my own little world out of fear of running into someone from back home."

"It's probably because you don't have a stick up your ass like most of them do." Adrianna teased and looeked at him. "How are thing with Serena though?"

"I don't actually get along or like to talk to that many city officials to be honest." Nate looked at her. "Well that honestly doesn't sound like you, Adrianna."

"This is why I love seeing you. You're always so welcoming." She smiled at her friend and handed her a glass of wine. "What's been new with you?"

"Well you know you're always welcome to come here to eat and gossip." Vanessa smiled at her friend. "I'm doing good. How's your business? Your family? All that?"

"That's the best thing to do and it's what I tell eeryone to do when they get fucked over." Adrianna laughed and looked at Belle. "I've been doing good, then again, if I wasn't, it's not like I would complain about anything."

Belle let out a soft laugh, sipping her drink. "Exactly. That's what I keep telling myself. Cut the dead weight and keep it moving." She gave Adrianna a grateful smile, genuine underneath the slight sass. "Honestly though, I think the city did most of the work for me. Never underestimate Manhattan's loyalty to a girl who got wronged. What I mean is that, Val and Ryan showed the whole city their true colors by hurting me just for laughs. They weren't smart enough to figure out that they will come out as the villains."

She glanced over, tilting her head slightly. "But enough about my chaos. How have you been? How's the business going?"

"I mean if it makes you feel better, I have nothing new or exciting going on in my life eitherl."

"i have been fantastic, adrianna." esme smiled at her friend and took a sip of her mimosa. "how about you? and trust me, i have no life outside of work, so nothing new or interesting to share."
