I loooove the concept of a hidden object game having a health bar that determines what strenuous actions you can take. Unfortunately, Small Town Terrors: Livingston refuses to run on my computer anymore, but that playthrough was fun!

Mystery Case Files: Escape from Ravenhearst
"Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story—if you escape."
If you enjoyed "Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome," then MCF 8 should also be memorable for you. The detective returns to Ravenhearst to investigate the disappearance of people. Throughout the game, we will be haunted by the main antagonist, who will tell us about their past. The eerie and frightening atmosphere, reinforced by a heavy plot, should stay in your memory for a long time. The game builds upon the plot of previous installments, but this doesn't prevent you from enjoying it even without knowing them.
P.S. This is one of my favorite installments in the series.

Fan made a concept of mine since I am quite aware that Dark Parables' developers didn't make any sequels anymore since 2019.
I have read a Puss and Boots book by Ladybird 'Easy Reading' book when I was a kid. Of course, the original author of the story was Charles Perrault. The memories regarding the details of the said book that I have read were fuzzy. But I will try to find that book soon since it belonged to my late uncle, who passed away due to COVID.
Here is a fan made concept art of a loading screen of a possible fairy tale that hasn't been touched by Blue Tea. I know most of you here probably compare this to Puss and Boots by DreamWorks. But I retain him as a tabby cat, I only alter his Cavalier hat a bit and make Puss's design as a real cat since ya' know the games portray realistic renditions (with established art-style) of people and animals than cartoony.
Here is a SpeedPaint from IbisPaint to prove that I have done it by hands digitally.
Btw I recently recorded Dark Parables 1-7 for my gaming channel and I am a half way to go lol and then I can edit them one by one and upload it on YouTube soon XDD.

Love this! I once found the man eating wreath from the nightmare before christmas in a hidden object game!

It always surprises me and makes me laugh when I play hidden object games and find these little Easter eggs in these scenes.
(The first photo is from “Haunted Halls: Nightmare Dwellers”, and the other two are from “Forgotten Places: Lost Circus”.)

Do you like your hopas more cheesy or more serious? Personally I think a certain level of cheesiness really adds to the enjoyment of playing. I love a touch of awkwardness in the story and the voice acting
I've had my share of playing cheesy hidden object games, and they're a fun way to pass the time with and enjoy the genre! But if I'm looking for a more involved experience, I try playing the serious ones that have a decent plot + characters.
So I guess it depends on the mood I'm in! My fav HOPA games tend to be serious but the awkward ones are fun to play every now and then!

I have a draft detailing my speculations on the closed off/non-shown rooms in Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome, but since I finished the game on all my saves, I can't access the points to get reference screenshots. So now I gotta replay this game for the 20th time. :) !

Shout out to Characters who are shells of their former selves! You died and you’re not coming back! You don’t recognize yourself and neither does anyone else, and it’s anyone’s guess what the fuck you’re supposed to be now!
