it has been brought to my attention that a shitpost i made is being cited in the "skinny ppl dont post tummy tuesday" discourse and i would just like to say two things.

You can't think these things about men without branding mlm as outsiders who will always be unwholesome and dangerous without women to "civilize" them.

You can't think these things about men without thinking of wlw who are more masculine as being inherently lesser for being like men.

You can't think these things about men without making most transfems seem suspect for having masculine traits, or forcing trans women to prove themselves female enough to be valid.

You can't think these things about men without telling transmascs that they are inherently degrading themselves by transitioning, or forcing them to deny their transition to be supported.

This take/justification is so colonial-based. It takes the idea that you need to set boarders and name a place for it be your home. So okay yeah: “Then what does make it a home? Why is it any less home to the Jewish people?” (I know I’m putting words in the mouth of a hypothetical person but like OP mentioned, there were already Jewish people there.) The people didn’t change from being Ottoman to British to Israeli just because the land deed was passed. Maybe thats how nationality works but not ethnicity. Those people remained and remain Palestine through all of it and they have stayed on that land through all of it. It is the land of the Palestinians (Palestine, if you will) That map shows the forced migration of the Palestinian people that make up what Palestine IS!

And before the British Mandate was the Ottoman Empire and before that was the Mameluks from Egypt... There has NEVER been an Arab nation called Palestine.
