john bakes the team an apple pie one (1) time and it's so good that nobody knows what to do with themselves about it, because they were all prepared to bully him. so instead they just start calling him a tradwife

Val gives him a lecture because he ticked „bisexual” on the paperwork and it’s not funny, diversity initiatives are important to give her PR opportunities show people they are one of them.

The team hears him talk about a boyfriend he had in highschool and thinks he means it in a best buddies way.

He wears a bi pin and gets comments about how important it is for allies to show their solidarity

He goes to a gay bar and the internet scoffs that he’s hiding there instead of going to a regular club, because gay men are probably far more likely to give him compliments.

He goes to a gay bar with Bob and they are holding hands and people say „ok. Fine. I guess he’s a good ally to a gay teammate. Fine”

He literally refers to himself as bisexual I an interview and everyone just dismissed that. It’s like… sure you are bud 👍 Which dumbass PR consultant told you to say that.

Bucky catches Bob and John making out, takes Bob aside and tells him how loneliness makes us desperate but sleeping with a straight man is not going to solve that and trust him because he knows and then he just stares forlornly at the wall so Bob just slinks away because WTF was that.

On the day of his wedding to Bob internet is full of conspiracy theories how „you people realise it’s not real, right? It’s like the opposite of when the gay stars used to marry women to quell the rumours. It’s like reverse Larry!” (I hate tumblr for making me know what Larry is).

Ava and Yelena use weaponized incompetence to make John do things for them.

That's how he started to cook for them and do the laundry. It started as a joke between Ava and Yelena but it started to work, the more they faked not knowing how the washing machine works, the more John stepped in to show them how it's done.

Eventually the rest catch up with what they are doing. Bob isn't really sure to be part of it (what if he finds out and gets angry at him, no thanks) but Bucky is kinda having a blast with it and Alexei didn't know what they are doing, he just really don't know how the coffee machine works lol

Does John find out what they are doing or is he just happy to let them get away with it because it feels good to do things for them??????

The team ( minus Yelena) is scared to mention Sam around buck when they are arguing and will ask Yelena to describe how bad a fight was from a scale of "quick sorry and everything ok" -> "sleeping on the couch" -> " going to your mother's house" -> "divorce "

John genuinely think that Bucky and Sam are dating and non of the other team members have the heart to tell him that they are not

Ava and Yelena love cheesey rom-com movies (so does the rest of the team not non of them will admit it)

Bob loves rubix cubes and fidget toys

Bob is actually really smart even though he never finished school

Alexei coaches a local pee-wee sports team. At first the public thought that this was just a publicly stunt but soon realized this was serious to him

Yelena loves gifting the team stuff as a way to snow her appreciation
