I do! This bitch is still cherished as a wonderful teacher and an amazing musician.
Bitch was abusive. Like the movie Whiplash abusive. And I still have beef with that. Because every one of her students who has ever left her classes is saying that, and yet, for the public... She is a Saint.
He ruined my voice. Everyone I have ever talked to in private (other teachers too) have a negative opinion on her teaching methods and voice training. And yet, the bitch keeps getting awards.
Fuck that.
Anyways classical music education is just ✨amazing✨ at getting abusive assholes in teaching positions because they are good at their profession. Doesn't mean they are good teachers.
does everyone have a teacher that they still have beef with/ hold a grudge against today??

Okay I need to talk about this because THIS IS BULLSHIT and you TERFS (or gender criticals) know you are bullshitting.
It was a hatecrime, we know it was a hatecrime, because 1. The trans guy is visibly trans and has facial hair making him pass as a man at first glance 2. The victim was openly gay. 3. Because the neighbour was literally yelling homophobic slurs at them which only makes sense if he has an issue with either gay or trans people. In both cases this is a hatecrime.
In neither cases is any of you "used for sympathy". If your sympathy stops because the victim's boyfriend is trans I surely don't know how you can think you are a decent person.
It wasn't a violent encounter between two men either because one of them was passive so either way this is a violent attack at best.
The shot was aimed at the trans guy. He died protecting him. Again, making this a fucking hatecrime. Because if it was just a dispute between two men, than why was the firearm aimed at the men's partner (and why the homophobic slurs again.)
Before you assume anything I am a female, I am not trans, and I am also a homosexual. So no, I am not saying this because I feel like I am gaining something from this. Because I won't.
Anyways have the day you deserve and STOP SPREADING FOX NEWS BULLSHIT.
Ok I feel very lied to I thought they were a gay couple. None of the articles (that saw) said Tristen was trans so when I looked them up after that ask you just published I feel used almost? I fully thought the neighbor killed their dogs and burned down the home cause they were a gay couple
Spicy straights have no shame she’s literally made herself the victim in her own husbands most likely racially motivated murder
I agree. These tags from that post sum up how I feel perfectly:

It sounds like the murder was a result of two men being violent and erratic with each other, and one shooting the other as a result. I would not be surprised at all if Joss being Indigenous led to him being viewed by the killer as more “violent and erratic” than he actually was. It’s undeniably a sad situation, but not one that has anything to do with homophobia considering the man who was killed was in a clearly straight relationship.
#yes it was#A#hatecrime#you are evil for this#Especially during#pride month#I really feel sad about the lack of empathy some of you have

I did that once, though as a character. I was playing a bard in a local LARP, and I asked the other players to send me either real or false rumours they would like to see in the game, to make it more fun.

As a sociologist, a very fun fact on this topic actually is that gender is inherent to each person's understanding of their own relation to their biological sex and societal status. That means while where are people with very similar understandings of their gender, no two people share the exact same gender.
If you experience some type of aversion from what society tells you your gender is, that is actually a sign of understanding that stereotypes are kinda whack.
At the end of the day we are one big race, not different species. We are increadibly similar in the way we are all so-so different and it makes us also able to connect.
my craziest take is you can be cis in a trans way if you feel like it. Like its literally no big deal. if you wanna be completely cisgender but still feel as if you're alienated from your agab then you can be cis in a trans way

Quote from an unlikely source that goes increadibly hard:
"And by the way, how much are you getting payed to stab your sisters and brothers in the back? I was always intrested, what is the price of a man who sells himself after his ancestors shed blood to be free from being owned?"

The innkeeper's helper's diary.
Alternatively a night in the Selene Inn, from the perspective of the innkeeper's helper.
It be the fault of no-one but mine, that I have decided to work for the innkeeper.
However if that party of seven merchants at the table closest to my stance, won't find the sensible amount of noise they can make in a closed place and keep being as loud as they are, I may learn again how to do a Cocktail of Molotov, and give them a reason to be so-so noisy.
And be it far from me to pick on one of my patron's trait, that they can't help to be born with, but that man at the corner has the most annoying henious laugh and whenever I hear it a desire to choke him overcomes me.
And now, someone I can not see from back here started to shout. Just. Shout. No words. Just noise. To Desert with him.
Be it, 'tis my fault for working in a space like this. At last, it gives me some semblance of peace that our usual adventuring party is quiet. Those are good kids. I will have to give them a reward for never giving me a headache before they go out again.
I can not wait for these merchants to leave town. That man broke a glass and than had the audacity to ask me for a free drink. My brother in Yaedun, you broke OUR glass. Do you have any idea how expensive these things are? May the Desert devour you, leaving only your bones to your grieving family.
If one more person starts a fight, I will seriously consider to close the Inn for the night. I don't mind them killing eachother, but blood is increadibly hard, if not impossible to get out of these light coloured floors. I will never understand why the Innkeeper choose sandwood for the floors.

If there is a white, heterosexual, Conservative Christian, cisgender man that is my father.
Also my father: Well if they do ban Pride, I may go out there.
And they did ban Pride.
My father a few days later: Welp, they banned it. If your grandmother sees me on television and gets another heart attack, it will be their fault.
#things are happening#hungary#my father is great#I may not agree with your opinion but I will fight for your right to say it#politics#fashism#oh boy that man is a dictator#humans are weird#humans are deathworlders#I am in a death world actually it feels like#my dad is wholesome

"Hungry people are incapable of love." is what my mother used to tell me, when I was little and asked why people are so angry all the time. If your basic needs aren't met, you will be in survival mode and in survival mode people are prone violence.
Everyone knows this. Even communists knew in my country that as long as people have enough food, they will be able to stop riots. Refrigerator Socialism is what people called it. Or goulash socialism. People had what they needed. And they were right. The transition of power was unstoppable, but it didn't turn into a Ceausesku situation.
But the important part is, these people didn't want war. Fashist do though.
Never elect a fashist. They will take away public safety first, then healthcare will be inaccessible, then you'll loose safe spaces, you'll loose any access to medicine, then education.
Last, when you'll have nothing, they'll take away food. You will be hungry, angry, and they will want you to belive that this is the fault of some another nation that is far away, or a minority that is close by.
This is just a bone thrown at hungry dogs. They want you to look around, to bite eachother's throats, but you should be looking up, because it is them who caused this.
The only question at the end of the day is if you will have a riot and revolution, or a war. You decide.
In summary, guys. The US is heading towards dictatorship, but before that, full on open war, but first they want to make you frustrated enough to go to war.
Hungry people can't love. So don't let them starve you.

I find this really funny, because if we think about it, everything Elon ever "accomplished" that had to do with tech, was actually accomplished by engineers who he then doesn't really credit. (For example the guys who actually created Tesla)
Anyways the names are:
Akash Bobba, Edward Corristine, Luke Farritor, Gauiter Cole Killian, Gavin Klieger, Ethan Shaotran.
These men just stole the personal information of everyone in America AND control the Treasury. Link to article.
Akash Bobba
Edward Coristine

Recently written for the subreddit of this genre but thought I'd post it here too.
It was a quiet and calm day in the city of A'shik. Everything was peaceful after the last human slave riot was beaten down a few months ago, life seemed to be back to normal.
Emperor Selic layed quietly in his bed, with on hand behind his neck, the other petting the head of a human slave girl, laying on his lap. The Emperor was from the "ashtak" one of the most long living species. They were the ones who made first contact with humanity around 200 years ago. He was only the Prince at that time and he was still young.
There was physically not much difference between the two of them, if it wasn't for the emperor's green skin and blue stripes, they could be one species. The emperor loved this one slave of his. He called her Shey, but had no idea what her real name was. He left her alive because not only she didn't rebel, she protected him from one of the rebels during the chaos, by killing two other slaves targeting him. He was almost proud, he "trained" her so well. Like a loyal pet, really. Obviously she had more use than that, he enjoyed her in all the ways a man can a woman. He remembered she cried quite a lot when they first got her here, but soon, she seemed to become one of the best servants of his. A perfect example that humans can be broken in, you just have to know how to give them just enough praise or punishment. Shey was perfect. Only talking when asked, following every order and just overall, a nice decoration. Most of the time she even refused to take any rewards if she did well. Expect for three weeks ago, which pleasantly surprised him. She asked for a hairpin, from a metal only this planet had. He didn't even think about it much, women of all species tended to like how tilerium looked. So he gave it to her. It was on his desk, right beside his drink.
"Shey, bring me my drink." he said as he caressed her face for a second. She nodded, smiled and got up. Such a simple soul, he thought. He sat up, and took the drink from her when she got back. And than he pulled her down into the bed. That was the moment he felt a sharp pain between his ribs. He looked down confused to see the hairpin stuck in his chest. He gasped for air, trying to grab the woman, but she slipped from his arms and stood up from the bed. "Why" he asked and blood ran from his mouth staining the white bedcovering.
"If you ever believed that I would forgive you, after everything you took away from me, you are really fucking dumb, Emperor Selic." it was the first time he heard her curse. "You have a few minutes before you choke on your blood, so... Any questions?"
"Why did you help me during the riots if you wanted me dead?"
"One of your guards would have anyways... It was better that they died this way... Besides" she leaned over him "I wanted to be the one who kills you. It was *my* revenge."
She closed his eyes as he didn't take more breaths. She ripped the hairpin out of his chest. It was finally over. Unbeknownst to the emperor, the Palace was slowly taken over the way he was murdered. Not just the Palace, but the whole planet. Human ships came in a few hours and nobody stopped them. There was no leader for the ashtac species anymore. All their generals and ministers were murdered similarly to their emperor, those who weren't only lived because they helped the human takeover.
It was a quiet and calm day in the city of A'shik. The wind, that usually brought the smell of the forest brought the smell of gasoline and fire. The revolution just started. Soon many more planets should be liberated all around the galaxy.
(ikd kinda worse than I thought this would be but English isn't my first language so...)

I probably should not post any thought that comes out of my head but it will make this post spread so I will just still write them down.
How shitty you have to be to make this decision as a leader, as a parliament? I'm sorry but if my goverment did that there would be molotov cocktails flying in the window of the parliament...
And you know, condemn Hamas etc.
and all that. Are we going to pretend that the Israeli goverment did not create hamas back in the day? Like it's not the Israeli goverment that made it impossible for Palestine to become a normal democracy? Are we going to pretend that the issue is Palestine? Like yeah Hamas is bad but... *think* please, if someone bombed your house, would you be like "Yeah I forgive them"? And it's not just their homes, but their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, daughters and sons. And nephews and nieces and grandparents. So why do we act surprised if they become a part of Hamas? What else they can do? Just die in silence? Israel would like that.
Anyways I don't like to post/repost stuff about this because I know far to little and almost no one reads me anyways but it was about time I said something I guess.

Israel has banned children’s insulin injectors from entering Gaza
Children can die within a matter of days without insulin. In even less time a lack of insulin will cause blindness, nerve damage, and kidney failure.

So I translated my poem to English, which was a grave mistake cuz God if it's not the first lesson in technical translation to never translate to a forgein language, so I definitely appreciate feedback if anything sounds off. Anyways, enjoy:
Human
A human is flesh, bones, veins and blood,
A human is a nervous system, brain, a thought,
A human is enthusiasm and soul,
A human being is fire, rain and morning dew.
And the fire sleeps in me,
And the idea is within you as well,
And I will be enthusiastic one day too,
And one day the storm will fall asleep in you.
One day I will be the fire
One day I will be the idea,
One day you will be bones and blood
One day I will know where I belong
And than I will be human too
And maybe I will learn to love
One day I will love another for you
One day God will sit on the Garden wall.

Athis wasn't really the person who seemed to be found of other humans. Eversince they got on the ship they were very helpful, kind, but quiet. Not the type humans usually are. Athis was not loud, although they liked to sing, and their voice was kind of nice to listen to, so no one had a problem with it.
They seemed to know a good variety of folk songs of a specific region on earth. Oftentimes the crew found her gazing out one of the windows of the cantina instead of talking to the other humans or the other members of the crew.
Not that they were specifically asocial or hostile. They were kind of nice to talk to. On rare occasions they even talked a lot.
I took the time to talk to them as often as possible. I liked them. I asked them about their life... She opened up slowly. One time we started talking about their home.
"Ah... Gaia is a cesspool... It has so many good things but god awful politics and the people... Fuck the people. Honesty they are so brainwashed. You'd think with the universe open to them they would finally let go of these silly things like... Them being weird about same sex relationships. Why? The whole ass universe is open to us, we literally see interspecies relationships but they get weirded out by two women holding hands? And your own relatives chew you out for not agreeing with them on politics. And the lack of spine people have there... No offense Xebie... they are awfully two faced." they seemed stressed as they hid their face in their palms.
"It really does sound horrible... I would understand if you'd never want to go back."
"Ah that's my biggest problem... I cannot tell you how much I hate it but also... I miss it. I wish to go home I want to see trees and flowers I know the name of, I want to sing toghether with people who know the songs of my region... I miss speaking the language of my mother. I really miss it. And the food is great and the people can be so nice. And the Sun is such a pretty star. The evening sky is prettier than any painting or photo of it... Oh and I love people. I hate my kind but I also love them. We go to war, we hate for such ridiculous things, I cannot stand how prejudiced we are. And even like that... People help each other for no personal gain, make art, write poetry that makes me cry, create songs that make me smile... I love that side of us". their face lit up with something I rarely seen in her. I didn't understand human expressions well enough to decode it, but my interpreter program recognised it as something between admiration and disgust... "What I really love that we are not all that different. Not even from the other species. But that doesn't mean we are great. I think humans, though strong, have a lot to learn from species like yours. You never had wars! How much more intreeging that is."
Athis smiled at me than shook their head. "I talk to much." they said as they covered their mouth. "I am so sorry."
"Oh don't worry about! It was intresting. And I think I understand your feelings a little bit. I had a friend who was very talented, but turned out to be a horrible person overall. It was a very confusing feeling." I replied.
Athis wasn't that different afterall. Soon I learned most humans on our ship seen Gaia similarly. Humans seemed to carry a type of guilt with themselves. Learning the history of their homeworld made me understand why.

Uhhh there was a writing I read about this either here or reddit. It was about how humans can be absolutely awful. One human is a bully, an absolute nightmare of a coworker who uses his speacies reputation of being dangerous to terrorise everyone. Than the ship later needs to employ two other humans. Than the two other humans are much more nice, and often stand up against the bully human (who was also slightly racist). When he becames actually dangerous to the entire ship, the two 'normal' humans get the other human killed, but still feel extremely guilty about it. One of them even tries to save them from the situation after they pushed him into it.
I guess the point was that humans have a weird way of acting in the extremes. And that some of them feels bad about doing something that was objectively the right or useful thing to do, because it was still morally bad, while others can be absolute assholes and still be okay with themselves.
All the humans fuck yeah, and humans are space orks stuff lost its appeal when I realized it's just the same self important vanity that lets people justify destroying the environment, deprive the poor of the value of their work, and racism.
You can not tell me the first person to set fire to an alien refugee craft won't be some kind of human elitist who thinks himself and whatever group or groups he is a part of are the best.

8am philosophy lessons should be classified as crime against humanity!!
I am barely awake what do you mean the fabric of percieved reality is made up by the "common normative linguistic agreement" of the people speaking a language?
What do you mean there is an unsaid consense in the words we use to describe reality???
I JUST WOKE UP!
Help???
#philosophy#help#crimes against humanity#I am not even awake why do you gotta go into something that deep.
