was reading a 1950s detective book that jokingly referenced the fact it was illegal to use profanity over the telephone. my initial reaction was "kinda wild but makes sense given the history of overreaching obscenity laws"

long story short i fell down a rabbit hole and it turns out public profanity is currently illegal in some u.s. states

Sinners is a great commentary on what it's like to be Black on tumblr but instead of playing banjo the Remmicks give you a speech on how they cant be racist bc they're queer and reblog 'POCs' and accuse you of bullying right before you shut the door.

a deeply underrated part of the gay taylor swift conspiracy theories is that if they're right and she really has spent over a decade sending subliminal messages based on minute details for people to decode then she's uuuuuh. I mean she's insane. she's jigsaw. she's the riddler. her dad bought her career because if she didn't have music to distract her she would have started building deathtraps.
