Look...I’m just saying... for y’all who haven’t... now is a reaaaallllllly good time to get into the Anne with an E fandom... like... Season 3 drops January 3rd... (though it has been airing on CBC) you got plenty of time to catch up on the first two seasons... there’s roughly 19 eps (??) available on Netflix... and as someone who has now watched all three seasons... we really want a fourth one... and by really, I mean REALLY want a Season 4... and we would all super appreciate it if you were to help boost interest... the show is fantastic... the actors are incredible... the stories they cover is wonderful and the cinematography is amazing...

Just... just give it a try... season 3 makes it alllllll worth it...

Meanwhile... I’ll be over here... waiting for them to announce season 4...

What is this "Yeah I kinda confessed and she said no" bullsh*t?

Firstly, you, my boy, said: "There's one thing keeping me from proposing to Winnie". I mean yes, it was obviously implied that that "thing" is Anne and she did understand the reference, but you didn't confess sh*t.

Secondly, she is drunk out of her f***ing mind and singing pirate songs while impersonating a bearded drunk sailor with her freaking hair. And Gilbert Blythe saw that with his own two eyes upon arrival. You can't expect someone in that state to understand and process information like that in 30 seconds AND, on top of that, give you a proper answer.

Thirdly, she didn't say: "No, Gilbert. I don't love you", she was babbling nonsense and clearly confused. And they were interrupted before she could give an answer or say anything actually substantial.

And mah boi just went and decided that "Yep, she just flat out rejected me. Welp, imma go home and search for an engagement ring for Winnie to propose immediately instead of waiting for Anne to sober up and talk to me without mumbling pirate bullsh*t. You know, as you do. Bye Anne, have a nice night, hope you won't be too hungover tomorrow".

BASH, PLEASE TAKE THE INITIATIVE AND KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO THIS OVERDRAMATIC TWINK BEFORE I THROW MYSELF THROUGH THE F***ING SCREEN TO DO IT MYSELF.

i’m not mad at Gilbert for fonding Winnie (but my shirbert soul hurts), i can be only angry with writers for making Anne realise her feelings just in that moment when Gilbert is with somebody else.

But what i am really mad at is how Gilbert’s not himself. He’s not a friend he used to be an episode ago, an activist when it comes to bullying, a calm boy that thinks how the world works instead of thinking of impressing someone! The main case is Josie and Billy of course. I was so sure he would do something when Billy stepped back from that confrontation with Anne, but here we are.. and when he chases our precious heartbroken Anne, he didn’t comfort her, he just made a joke

I know he’s a teenager and certainly doesn’t have to be perfect, but please, we can’t do a step forward and two steps backwards in character development😣
