The trek starts from YUKSOM covering the Himalayan range forest and then passes through Tshoka and Thansing and then reaches to Dzongrilia and the trek completes reaching Yuksom back via same route. The nearest railway station is about 163km, NJP and Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri from Yuksom. Shared jeeps and local car rental services are available from Sikkim and Siliguri.
The place is beneficiary for the trekkers, Dzongri trek or Goechala trek route. Geyzing is a sub-division of west Sikkim in which Yuksom is a small town located in it. Yuksom consist many Buddhist Monasteries and have a special religious and culture and it is a starting point of Khangchendzonga National Park.
