fall study moods

sweaters: droopy eyes in the library, hands wrapped around a warm mug, laughing with friends in between classes, pens almost out of ink

changing leaves: studying in bed, thin slanted handwriting, rain pattering on windows, slouchy clothes and glasses, local bookstores

tea: early alarms, pencil pouch bursting at the seams, exponentially long to do lists, unassigned assigned first row seat, tapping fingers

pumpkin patch: bullet journal entries in delicate cursive, woolen coats, book pages worn soft from use, asking questions after class

halloween: assigned reading becoming a new favorite book, getting to class just barely on time, on a first name basis with every barista

bonfire: indecipherable in class notes, maroon everything, intricate diagrams, the clinking of a spoon in a mug, a love for graph paper

flannel: chipped nail polish, spiral notebooks, notes in the margins, shaking off an umbrella, classes with teachers who love their subject

candy apple: notes festooned with post its and washi tape, a busy schedule, black hair ties that turn up seemingly everywhere, overflowing bookshelves

sunday, 4 february — currently having a great day even though i have a lot to study for university. taking a moment for myself to write down things in my journal while drinking a hot chocolate tea and listening to some tibetan singing bowls on youtube.

saturday, 10 february — hope you all having a great start of the weekend

showing you clothes, accessories and my current read all at once!

so yes, so far, i’m really enjoying my reading! if you like murder mysteries set in the 20s, this book series is for you! i’m personally taking my day off today, i am not planning on studying, just cleaning and enjoying my time catching up with tv shows, youtube etc! but tomorrow is gonna be a full studying day! so i better sleep early tonight haha!

in college there are only two moods:

1. i can do this! after outlining everything i need to do, it doesn’t seem so bad. in fact it’s very methodical and easy to follow and i can do it.

2. oh my god its happening. its the end for me. i might as well be dead. everything is due now. i was put on this earth to suffer. i have two essays due in 45 seconds and all ive eaten today is half a goldfish cracker. i can only feel pain

also these moods go back and forth every hour

So after the feat of climbing Mount Snowdon yesterday, I slept for 9 hours into the afternoon and am now trying to get on with work for my FMP! Our deadlines are all fast approaching so there isn’t really time to take a break. My Macbook arrived on the Friday before my climb and has been a huge help with regards to getting my illustrator files and photoshop images done. 

Stay hydrated! London is uncharacteristically warm today, but I like the breeze that’s accompanied it. Sadika x

DUNKIRK // a film review

film spreads are so much fun to do. lately, we saw dunkirk, and i loved it. i still think interstellar and inception are his best ones tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ anyway, christopher nolan is just amazing. love his work so much.
