not only was this beautiful lady talking to him of all people, but she was actually saying that she wanted to make up volleyball cheers?! was his heart doing alright in his chest? it was still beating, right? just thinking about having an actual cheerleader cheering the team on from the stands like other famous schools had--it was something he's only dreamed about!

"that---that would be super cool! there are a lot of teams that have their cheerleaders in the stands cheering them on! i'd say go for it!" whatever god was looking down on him today, he was definitely going to have to thank them later.

"asahi! the savior of the day!" he said as he was instantly under the umbrella the moment that his upperclassman offered it to him. he might be drenched in water from the rain that was coming down, but with the shelter now over his head, he couldn't help but give the other a smile.

"you know, there are times when we're allowed to kick the volleyball, though it's mostly when the ball is out of our reach to receive it and BOOM! we can give it a little kick to put it back into play." not being able to use your hands in football, though? it sounded rough.

the summer heat was getting to tanaka, especially after such a heated practice. but he had the thought of a nice cool shower in his head as he was walking side by side with noya. it was then that he took the other's hand in his own, bringing it up to his lips and gave it a kiss.
