Thus is a weird question, but is it possible to be immune to Jigglypuff singing? I have a friend with one, and she's a cool, sassy lil baby. I bring headphones in case she starts to sing, but my friend just... Doesn't go to sleep when it happens?? He's not deaf and doesn't put in headphones. Man just vibes while Meringue lays out the tunes. So idk if that's like, weird. (I got his permission to ask this cause he was also curious)
how interesting! i wonder if your friend has some sort of sleep disorder that involves disrupted brainwave patterns. jigglypuff cause people to fall asleep by synching their singing to brainwave patterns found in early sleep stages. your friend might just not respond to the expected frequencies, so his jigglypuff's natural song doesn't work on him.
i think the only way to really confirm this would be for him to undergo a sleep study. there are a lot of scientists who study the effects of pokemon on human sleep, so he could probably convince one of them to take a look at his brain while meringue is singing!
