Big fan of characters realizing they don't get to die. They have to live. And grow. And be a person. And deal with shit they thought they'd never have to. And be fucked up about it. I would like more of this. Enough dying for honor or as redemption. It ain't. You're just a corpse. There is no moral value in dirt time.

Go to topsters and make a grid of some of your favorite games!
Tagging: @swoomoo @informaltorching @storyowls @midaskey and anyone else who wants to!
#no particular order i just put them in at order of remembering about them#lots of rpgs and surprise warframe (i play it a lot just not post about it for whatever reason) as well as the prettyboy metal gear#my deep dark secret is that i have the shittiest hand to eye coordination so i vastly prefer keysmash type combat#or otherwise games that are easy#hence ds3 and elden ring are actually played by my friends while i tell them which armors to wear and cheer when bosses kill them#but i really like their lore and use them as inspiration for art often#swtor is also bit of a weird one. I love SW IA and SI storylines. they're maybe my favorite sw media ever. meh about rest of storylines.#and pretend expansions don't exist sorry

Mozilla, in its finite wisdom, embedded LLM bots into recent versions of Firefox for the vitally-important purpose of… naming tab groups. Now, some users are noticing CPU and power usage spikes caused by a background process called Inference.
Ugh. Reminder again for Firefox users to visit your about:config page, search for the browser.ml.chat.enabled key, and set that to false:
If yours says true then double-click it until it reads false.
Doing that turns off the AI chatbot features in Firefox, but also the stupid new LLM tab-naming feature that's rolling out.
