BSD book markers! Chuuya’s one 👆

I modified slightly the poem so it matches better the name of his ability in the anime (and I still got the title wrong, it was supposed to be Upon the tainted sorrow) And god, I love his poems, my favorite is “Bone”, I even used it to do a art homework.

(I am aware that it looks like I wrote smow instead of snow, normally I write m with three curves and n with two curves.)

I don’t really have the English version of No Longer Human to show with the marker, but it doesn’t really matters. I absolutely love No Longer Human, I read it in my first language. ❤︎

I didn’t really made this marker after any version of the book, only the chess piece is from the book cover of the book in my first languages.

Hello! It’s me again, how are you??

When I finished my sketch I just noticed I totally forgot Chuuya wears a hat, and as I really like drawing hair I just decided to not draw it. I really love that outfit, it’s from a manga official art. Before I shaded his face I thought he was kinda looking like a girl, did I get him to actually look like a man now? In the colored parts of the manga & its official arts, Chuuya has brown eyes, but in the anime Bones decided to give him blue eyes, an some people just draw him with heterocromia. So I just made the 3 version, but I personally prefer him with brown eyes. Those are the prettiest eyes I ever did online by the way. What do you think of the drawing?

Another drawing I did some months ago. It’s a stormbringer part. The order to read is all left -> right

“He’s the kind of guy who’d try to sell water to someone who’s drowning.” Was what made me draw this whole thing, I found that so funny I couldn’t stop laughing.

I did these on class and I only had my notebook, so sadly it wasn’t a proper paper to draw.

I am currently making BSD bookmarks and as soon as I get the material to properly finish the ones I already have I’ll start posting them. Let me cook. That’s the reason I’m only posting old drawings or doodles right now

I did this in class with one specific Dazai, Chuuya, age fifteen panel in mind. I think it’s cool, I don’t like how I did his chin though. I drew thin on April.

I did this drawing on April, I wanted to do a new today but I had a big video to edit for school. Today I’d do his nose and bandages different, but I’m not changing it now.

Where I live it isn’t June 19 yet, but it is on Japan, so Happy Birthday, Dazai!

I might post something else for him tomorrow, who knows?

Also, do you guys read Osamu Dazai’s books? I’m a fan. I don’t have all the books I can buy yet, but I’m planning on getting more. I love The Setting Sun & No Longer Human.

There’s a bsd short story that was on the volume 6 of the manga about kid Akutagawa that said something like, sometimes his sleeves turned into flowers and sometimes into a sword. I liked so much the ideia of he making flowers with his sleeves that I drew it.

I searched up the bone’s design for kid Akutagawa and I had never notice he had bangs when little. And I know that Rashōmon doesn’t actually shine like that (specifically when he was a kid) but it makes my drawing looks cooler, so who cares right?

I had to repaint this drawing, remake the eyes & fix some of the features before I was able to get satisfied, the previous one looked like crap. I hope it looks good now.
