while I do think Americans in the USA need to educate themselves especially now, I think we gotta be mega understanding and sympathetic to kids who are black and brown being treated with racism in the education system.

black children are especially sidelined and dismissed compared to their white peers because historically America did NOT want us to be educated, specifically to control us. we had to take fucking IQ test to vote not too long ago.

I'm lucky to have teachers that were patient and caring but I've been around and seen the school system fail so many black children because of racial bias and or being poor. the American education system is inherently racist and classist.
