2025 Topps Baseball Series 2 Hobby Jumbo

I was able to buy one box each of Hobby and Jumbo and opened them. There are a bit too many cards, so I'll give a quick introduction.

I like the atmosphere of this series a lot, because I don't like the flamboyant design of the base cards.

I am happy to have the cards of Kim Hye Sun, Josh Lowe, Tj friedl, Sasaki and Sugano that I wanted.

I also like the insert cards and parallels.

I am also lucky to get autographs from Hobby.

Daniel Schneemann

A hard worker who hit two home runs (a solo shot and a grand slam) to save his team this May. He is also a utility player and can play shortstop, third, second, and outfield. These hard-working players make me want to cheer for them. His autograph also has a somewhat primitive look to it.

And in Jumbo, one autograph and two relics are as good as the odds.

Jairo Iriarte

A young Venezuelan right fielder. He pitched 6 games last season, striking out 6 in 6 innings (3 runs allowed) with a 1.50 earned run average, and has bright prospects for the future. I think he needs to work on his four-strikeout ratio.

The relievers are David Ortiz, aka Big Papi, and Kevin Alcántara. I thought it was a pretty hot lineup.

The Legends and Rookies slots are well-balanced.

Dwight Eugene Gooden

As I sort through my storage box, occasionally a treasured card pops up. This time it's Dwight Gooden, a famous pitcher; the card was issued in 1988, so he's the same age as I am.

The card is in "Doc" notation, his nickname, so I didn't recognize it at a quick glance.

91 wins and 1000 strikeouts in just 5 years is tremendous. Now, let's continue our treasure hunt✨

We found these star players 11 years younger than they are now. The old binders seem to have been transformed into treasure chests over the years.

Jorge Soler. This is a card I drew about 12 years ago. At the time, I had no idea he was going to be the homerun king and just cheered for him to do well. I got to know the player and started cheering for him because of the card. I think this is one of the best parts of collecting sports cards. I don't know how much the cards are worth financially. I am not interested in it. It is just a treasure, a chance to get to know my favorite players. Do you laugh at me like that? 😁

ラスト６箱目。最後は未所持のベースカードは１枚もなく、ただリンカーンがいるばかりでした。でも、十分開封が楽しめたので幸せです😁

トータル20枚近くの未所持ベースカードが出ただけでも良かったですが、さらにimageバリエーションも引けたのが更に良かったです✨

５箱目。一昨年から推しているひとり、ジョシュ・ロウ選手のピンクパラレルが出て嬉しいです😁クルーズ選手のクロームも最高！

そして、未所持のベースカードがたくさん登場しました。これはかなり嬉しい！☺️

４箱目。クロームやインサートカードなどバリエーション豊富なカードが続出。またオスナ選手のimageバリエーションが出て驚きました😆

さらに6枚も未所持のベースカードが続出！✨

3箱目。ベン・ライス選手のクローム。初期キズがしっかり😢でも、ディアス選手の76シリアルが出てくれて嬉しい😆

ただ、この箱からは未所持のベースカードは出ず💦

2箱目。日本人選手がたくさん。鈴木誠也選手、大谷翔平選手、佐々木朗希選手。そして、青いシリアル入りのタジ・ブラッドリー選手。彼は背番号45なので惜しかったです���😁

そして未所持のスネル選手を無事入手！

ベースカードも残り60種類くらいなので、なかなか集まってくれません。コツコツ出てくれて嬉しいです😁
