Hey everyone! I always wanted to translate this manga series for an English audience as it's been dear to my heart. It's definitely more than just an Animal Crossing manga and includes some character drama haha! Synopsis Animal Crossing: News from Hohinda Village (どうぶつの森 ホヒンダ村だより/Dobustu no Mori: Hohinda-mura Dayori) is a typically 4-koma (4 panel) styled game diary of Abe Sayori's gameplay of Animal Crossing from Animal Forest e+ to Animal Crossing: New Leaf! It contains typical errands between the villagers and Sayori, the protagonist, along with some drama between her player friends. There are 12 volumes in total. The author seems to have played New Horizons, but may have lost interest or taken a hiatus to produce Volume 13.

I'm not heavily experienced in translating manga (in a formatting way) and would appreciate suggestions! Currently, I am translating pages that are publicly available to gauge interest. I personally own Vol. 3-12. I don't consider the first 2 canon (they may be, but the tone is different between the Animal Forest arcs to the DS games, but will consider doing them if I have access someday), but they are all back at my family home (I'm currently in college). If I get enough interest, I'll try to get my copies back to self-scan them! Please support the author, Abe Sayori, by buying the books or her other works!
