Guys, Toby Alderweireld literally said in an interview with a Belgian news paper that he can’t imagine not playing next to Jan Vertonghen. Like he said that they’ve basically become a package deal at this point. He also said that he needs Jan next to him.
That’s honestly the most adorable thing ever. (And to be fair, our national team defence has benefitted from them playing together for Spurs as well)

The thing I love most about Danny Rose is that despite the fact he’s said that he can’t wait to retire, because of the amount of racism there still is in the sport, he is still our best player week in and week out and he always gives it his all.
And he still doesn’t get the respect and credit he deserves. What has the guy got to do? We are extremely lucky to have him and we should love him as much as we love Son or Kane or Dele or any of the rest of them.
