Shaking her head at his words, only making her giggles continue “So romantic. Nicolas Sparks worthy romantic.” Caught only slightly off guard with his actions, Saige’s eyebrows furrow slightly in confusion. “Do you?” she questions rhetorically once his lips graze her cheek. Her lips turn up into a bright smile while his lips move with easy against her own, only adding to her own lack of patience with the whole situation — keeping that to herself. “Just around the corner there,” her head tilting in the direction, as she wraps her arms around his waist and quickly pecks his lips. Cheekily, she squeezes his ass before turning on her heel, pulling him along.

It appears to Hollis that they’re moving faster as they turn the corner, the bottoms of his shoes tap noisily along the street. It occurs to Hollis that the two of them are moving faster as they turn the corner, the clue being the toes of his shoes tapping noisily against the concrete as he paces along. “Didn’t know you were in this much of a rush.” he comments. When they arrive at the complex, he playfully pulls the key from her fingertips and kisses her again. The passion and skill is more apparent as he gently leads her backwards until she’s leaning against the door, his hands traveling down her body now. He finds bare skin, thumb skimming as he blindly pushes the key into the lock.

There’s an easy grace that Hollis possesses when he walks into the water. Nirvana watches him and decides it’s the self-assuredness he has. It’s when his lower half is concealed in water that her eyes snap up to his chest, then to his face. It’s not long before she’s watching him dive underwater and she shivers a bit, smoothing down her hair with the icy water. She could get the same result by ducking down like Hollis, but she didn’t feel like submerging herself completely. 

He’s underwater for quite a bit, leaving Nirvana looking out into the inky blackness of the ocean, seeing how the moon reflects off of the surface. Her attention is once more captured by Hollis, who snaps through the water like an aquatic mammal, hair whipping backwards and disturbing the peace further. “I’m glad you agreed,” she says, returning his grin with one of her own. Perhaps it’s the quietness of the world around them, or maybe the coldness of the water that makes her more aware of her steady pulse when he moves closer. She’s not nervous. He’s just a boy, after all, and she’s had much experience with the gender before. She thinks it might be a result of her excitement, the fact that he seems just as into this as she is, that her crude words and blatant I want you hints brought him closer rather than scared him away. She moves forward, about to say something else, when the freezing water stings her skin and she gasps, turning her head away. Hollis has no mercy, however, continuing to splash her. She retaliates, using her palm to slap at the ocean, waves of water moving back and forth between the two and she lets out a laugh, a genuine, loud laugh, because this is so juvenile but there’s a certain charm to it. “There are better ways to do that,” she retorts, shielding her face. “They involve your tongue, though, not you declaring war on me.” 

"You’re right.” he replies. The splashes halt and his hands drop to his side. He had drifted away from Nirvana during their little water fight and he wades back with a drastically different attitude, the entire atmosphere now shifted. He approaches her from behind, hands moving her hair to one side before reaching to slink around her slim waist. His freezing fingers play with the freezing skin beneath the water, tracing arbitrary shapes onto her stomach. He’s not pressed against her, not yet, but he’s close enough to blow on her neck, breath warm. She’s been raving about his lips and in this moment, Hollis finally gives her a second encounter––months after the first. He brushes his lips along her neck, delicately, but not tentative. It’s slow, but he eventually presses his mouth against her with more force, traveling up her jaw, down her shoulder. “We’ll get to my tongue later.” he murmurs, having a free moment to speak as he turns her around to face him. His shockingly green eyes gaze into her passionate brown ones, the moment he’s been waiting for all night finally within reach. He presses his lips against hers, learning to move in a way that complements her as moments pass, and all he can think of is how fucking amazing they both are.

After everything had kicked off, Saige had found herself mindlessly making her way through the blunt she had brought and the effects of the drug began clouding her mind. She was never one to willingly involve herself with unnecessary drama, nor did she care. Instead she laid on the cool grass, entranced with the night sky above her. Though her gaze was taken in a new direction as Hollis spoke up, bringing up an earlier conversation — the sheer bluntness of it brought a heat to her face. The brunette slowly and silently found her way to her feet, but was quick to slide her slender fingers into his larger palm, tugging the taller boy’s figure towards the exit of the backyard. “I’ll take you to my place, yeah? Don’t come breaking in after if I don’t call you back though,” the petite girl taunted, a smirk bringing out her dimple as she guided Hollis in the direction of her apartment — it was only a short block away. “It’s a nice night, huh?” she mused softly, taking a few steps ahead of him. “Not too cold. Clear sky. Bright moon,” Saige continued, turning her body so she was walking backwards, “Almost romantic.” she quipped all knowing there was nothing romantic about their intentions.

Hollis found himself more sober than he figured he would be tonight––he’d only had a beer and a few hits off of Saige’s joint, but mixing the two pushed him into a tranquil state. “Trust me, you’ll be calling me within twenty-four hours.” he laughs, swinging the hand that was connected to hers. Her skin felt cool, his always seemed to be burning a degree higher than everyone else’s. He looked to the sky as she spoke, “Romantic. This is definitely romantic––my mouth is going to be all over you tonight.” he says as if that made any sense at all. “ He sped up after that, completely stopping when the distance between them was no more. “You know, I feel like starting now.” he states, leaning down and brushing his lips along her cheek before moving them against her lips. He kisses her and kisses her, giving her a tiny taste of what’s to come. “Are we close?” he asked, pulling away.
