HMES007 Davor O - Mountain Wind w/Marko Nastic and Liquid Level
Home Made original pioneer Davor O introduces another autumn/winter soundtrack called ''Mountain wind'', featuring remixes from Belgrade's DJ hero Marko Nastic and Liquid Level, a minimal/dub author from Zagreb. The original track arouses a typical Davor O atmosphere, dark and mystical. Hard to categorize, which is also another characteristic of this author, the tracks stands somewhere between dub techno, minimal and electronica. The electronica part especially comes to light in the Liquid Level interpretation and on the other hand, the dancefloor elements are exposed in Marko Nastic's version. ''Mountain Wind'' also features an unusual live version of the track.

Why Cosmos is Home Made ? (small manifesto)

Currently we are getting more and more hooked on Cosmos, and when you start thinking deeper - where is actually Cosmos? After Isaac Newton developed his theory of colours, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe developed his own. Goethe was more concerned about the way the human eye perceives colours than about its physical characteristics. So it's the same with Cosmos - where is it? We say it's in our head, since the eyes which see it are in our head too. We should have the same approach in facing the current state of global issues. When we realize that the issues related to poverty, crisis, ecology, etc. are here, inside us, we will start solving them. It's the same with music and related activities - music is created in the author's head, and it's perceived in the listener's head. Everything in between is just a channel. The only obstacle in between is brain. Why brain ? Because music is the creation of soul, not of brain. Actually, brain is something that creates prejudices and distractions from exploring new music and values it could bring to humanity. The time for consuming music has been considerably reduced and people have been distracted by a bunch of stupidities delivered and pushed onto us by those who actually do not care about us. The only thing they care about is how to sell their products and services. On the other hand, the primary interest of people who make music is not to sell it, but to let people listen to it and enjoy it. Unfortunately, we live in the world where good intentions may take you to “hell”, so what is the alternative ? To have wrong intentions, not to say bad ones. We should not have trust in such an order, and as human beings we have to enjoy those good intentions, not only because we don't really know what the hell is, but because we do know what good things are. On our way to somewhere (and we can't know how it is there) we live with our intentions - and if they are good, we feel good along the way, and if they are wrong, we feel bad along the way. Simple formula, you choose ! And on that way it's music which could feed us with good intentions and help our good intentions grow. So where is Cosmos ? Where is music ? Where are the colours ? Where are good intentions ? All of them are inside us, and we are carrying them as a treasure, most of time unconsciously. So, knowing they are inside us is the first step toward finding them, by means of music of course.
PS So we could say that Cosmos is also Home Made :-)

Darko Kustura - The Haunting EP (Incl. remixes by Rob Mello, Burnin Tears, Yunnansound and Monotek)
Home Made fires another delicious release with two brand new tracks by Croatian promising Darko Kustura and this time both packed with two extraordinary remixes. A classic house flavoured chord from the first track ''The Haunting'' is remixed by London's house expert Rob Mello, spicing it with his recognizable deep wave and by Vienna's upcoming duo Burnin Tears, transforming it into a driving, piano house floorfiller. ''Separate Ways'', the second track from this release, a cool, deep tune driven by a nice modular, funky base line is remixed by Zagreb based artists Yunnansound and Monotek. Both remixes come with different and interesting atmospehrical perspective to the track with a surprising slice of acid by Monotek...
